Gillespie’s Map Room was a fun time my buddy really enjoyed the pizza. Beer was cold. Atmosphere was fun on a Saturday got a couple spots at the bar was full and initially went downstairs but went back up for food and found a spot. Groups next to us were fun and interesting. Would check it out again.

I was out downtown Cleveland last night and stopped into Gillespie’s Map Room for the first time. It was exactly what I expected—in the best way.
It truly feels like a neighborhood bar. The Irish flags, the Cleveland memorabilia on the walls, and the overall atmosphere make it warm, familiar, and welcoming. The bartender was informative and welcoming, which made the experience easy and comfortable.
I had great conversation with a friend and genuinely enjoyed my time there. It’s a relaxed, unpretentious spot that feels very Cleveland.
I’ll definitely be back

Caught the (daytime) Guards game here today and had a blast! The bartender, Dustin, was so nice and friendly and the atmosphere was great. I’ll definitely come back for game day or a casual bite.

It's a dive bar with an Irish Pub name that serves Italian food. Honestly, Im a fan and will definitely be back. Our bar tender Sarah was friendly and attentive and always had a smile on her face. Going to bring my friends next time Im downtown.

Not what I meant expected at all. Not sure, but some place with map room in the name conjures pictures of maps, ships, voyages... This place was better with its edgy feel to go with good beer.
