My husband and I attended a birthday party at this brewery the other night. Overall, it was a good experience. The Belgian Tripel I had was excellent! The pierogis, pretzel bites and chicken paprikash were all mediocre as far as brewery food goes. It's a very spacious brewery with many different rooms. I didn't think the atmosphere overall was that special, however, they did have cornhole and other games in one of their rooms, which was a nice option for folks wanting to be more active. They also played a german style of music to match the vibe of the brewery. The service at the bar was very quick.

I wanted to like this place SO much. The beers my husband and I tried were essentially full when we left. I had their Hefeweizen which was unlike any I've ever had-- flavorless and as opaque as milk. He had their altbier which was better but bland too. Others with us had the pierogis and described them as flavorless and with an unusually tough texture. I had the Plain Jane burger which was dry and had no taste at all. My husband had the cheesesteak sandwich which he described about the same. The best things about this place were the cool decor, the game room (which was very cold, even according to the bartenders), and the presence of the side party room for private events. The bartenders were polite but not friendly or particularly helpful. With so many other wonderful places in this city, we won't be back and we are truly sorry about that because this is close to home and we thought it was cool that you could take a glassblowing class there. We'll visit Larchmere Fireworks (the glassblowing outfit) at their shop instead and hit up any of the other great breweries in town.

Nice tap room, good beers, simple menu. Has a comfy looking couch area and a larger area for games

Well… It just wasn’t as good as I wanted it to be.I like to think I order easy - I got the Pilsner and the Bavarian Pretzel, both the first thing on the menu. And the pretzel was a microwaved stadium pretzel??? What the??? 0/5!The pilsner was generally good, I would have preferred a more bitter front end but I digress, it was good 3.5/5.Atmosphere was nice! I liked the catering room a lot although, I just poked my head in. Had a couple pin ball machines, a bounce back shuffleboard, and a few corn hole boards, all in nice condition.I can’t get over the pretzel…

If you ever have the chance to marry your best friend, celebrate it at the Goldhorn. From the beginning of the planning stages to the midnight send-off, this brewery had us thrilled with their welcome communication, huge private room, delicious dinner buffet, incredible wait staff, and above all, the tasty beer. Chris answered every question I had about planning the evening for our 120 guests. The kitchen was prompt with hot buffet items. There was plenty of space to move around in the venue with our DJ and dance floor. The kids had room to bounce off the walls (along with some of my cousins). Above all the service of the wait staff was undisputedly accommodating.I hope I never get married here again; no party will ever be as sweet.

I had my dads 70th birthday party here and it was awesome! The game room was and open space was prefect for young kids to run around. The in house brewed root beer was an excellent alternative for the non drinkers, and the bar has a nice selection for the non beer drinkers. The accommodated all the requests and the food came out on time and was good. Chris was great to work with the whole time. I love this place and would recommend

A few selections for liquor and wine, rather than just beers, which is a bonus, but unfortunately the food is all bar food and tastes like it has been reheated. I would've liked to see a larger beer selection- maybe a cider or something unique/different. Fried food was not fried, rather, soggy. The place is cool though.

This place is spacious with lots to do! You can watch the game at the bar, do glassblowing, play arcade games and more. They have beer, wine, and specialty soda. The food is flavorful and fresh to order. The cauliflower bites are tender inside, crispy outside and cooked to golden perfection. They're a perfect substitute if you don't want fries. I liked their homemade BBQ sauce more with the bites, but the honey mustard was good too. The cheesesteak was tender and delicious. It's a great place to have a special event too. They have ample parking. The staff are friendly.
