Very nice place. Clean and good food. Most waitresses were very kind. Our waitress, not so much! She was rude, no smile and bothered to be at work. I visited with 3 other people and we all got the same vibe. However, I do not want this review to ruin my overall experience. I would definitely visit again. Not to mention, the prices were excellent and the portions were a good amount. I took half of my food home. The gentleman working at the register on the way out was wonderful as well

If I could give zero stars I would. Stay away!!! My companion and I stopped at Goody's because we had received a $25 gift card (including the dated receipt of purchase). The gift card was purchased in December 2024. We ordered our food, ate and were leaving. I attempted to pay with my gift card and we were told the gift card cannot be used because they changed machines 8 months ago (January 2025). We even talked to Mike, the owner. Nope, he wouldn't budge even with the receipt of purchase. I paid out of my pocket & we left. Sorry, I don't patronize businesses that sell gift cards knowing they will be changing their machines & won't accept them in the future. Bad business practices = bad reviews.

I went to breakfast with my mom again, and this time, we went to Goody's Family Restaurant tucked away on Snow Road. Everyone knows my journey in Cleveland is to find the best biscuits and gravy in town. I also like to try the corned beef hash. My mom loves French toast. I ordered the Southern Combo with a side of corned beef hash, of course.
The Southern combo came with 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, breakfast potatoes, and a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy. It's not bad, and it's a great price, too. The only problems were the biscuit and gravy tasted funny like it was from a can or jar. Plus, the biscuit was very thin. The corned beef hash looked and tasted like Hormel. I was not a fan. Everything else was tasty and cooked perfectly. I do recommend adding seasoning to the potatoes.
Another local spot to enjoy a meal. The food was tasty and came out quickly. The staff was friendly. The place was busy, but there wasn't a long wait, and it didn't feel crowded.
