I was traveling from Pittsburgh to Detroit. We Started searching for fried chicken and this place popped up. I'd recommend getting the basics from greedy. Whatever they do well; buy that. The fried chicken and rice with veggies was on point.

Amazing. Don't come in looking for a fancy sit down. This place is good home cooking. My lady and I split the polish Poor Boy, green beans and Steak Philly. Everything wad outstanding.Love this place and we'll be back, even though it's a 6 hour drive.

First time here and unfortunately it didn't hit the spot.Ordered a simple meal - wing dings and fries. The wing dings were small and the meat was dry. The fries were okay but the whole meal was smothered in j*** sauce which made the fries extremely soggy and took all the flavor away from the chicken and fries.It was only $7, so nothing crazy in terms of money spent, but I'd rather spend a bit more and get a better product.The guys there were super cool and I wish them the best but I value my money and therefore going back isn't an option for me.

What it lacks in appearance it makes up for in food. I ordered the Polish Boy. I will say it was the best I have ever had. Huge portion good price. I used to think the old Hot Sauce Williams was the best... NOPE Greedys on E 71st has it and anyone else beat. From the Fresh fries to a fresh bun to the slaw and tangy bbq sauce. It was as close to a perfect sandwich as you could possibly have. Went back the next week and got The Greedy burger. Hands down an almost perfect burger. Juicy ,fresh, perfect taste, a few surprises inside, and those FRESH FRIES!!!!!! MORE PLEASE. If it Father or Son cooking just great all round

Just not good all around. Dry over cooked catfish $8 for the tiniest fish possible. Mac & cheese is embarrassing for a place claiming to be serving soul food. And I should have turned around because the place is pretty unkept to say it nicely.

A little, locally owned restaurant that pleasantly surprises! The staff were all so friendly. They worked to set us up to have lunch outside because it was such a beautiful afternoon. The food is to die for! Everything was so fresh and absolutely delicious! I had the tacos and my fiance had the burgers. Neither of us could decide which we liked better. Will definitely be back!

This place is great. The polish boy and 8 wing dings is more than enough food for 1 person and it was delicious. I will be getting food from here alot. Can't wait to try something else, after reading the reviews, I think I'm gonna try the catfish.
We heard that Cleveland was famous for a polish boy, which then it brought us to this place. Oh my goodness, the service is excellent, everyone is so friendly, the food was absolutely amazing, and portion size was huge!! Hands down you need to try this place! I have already been telling my Ontario family and friends they need to come up here and try this place.Thanks again for your wonderful service, and amazing food! If we are ever back in the area we will definitely be stopping by again!

Food was AMAZING! Cooked fresh to order. The wing dinner with sauce was perfect. But that Cajun Salmon with rice and veggies definitely was the winner. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. Staff was wonderful

I’ve given this place chances after chances. The customer service is terrible has always been terrible. I’ve had a share of good food from them but more bad then good. Chicken not cooked all the way through, extra greasy phillys, under cooked rice, over salted food & the list goes on. I always support my neighborhood restaurant but I will not support them any longer. I’ve only returned food once I usually just take it on the chin but in returning the food the lady was extremely rude over the phone I couldn’t even tell her what happen before the called me a bluff. I had to literally come out the house in my pjs because she told me I was lying. Then when I got there the cook tired to argue with me about the veggies being uncooked in my food like I wasn’t the one eating the over sized uncooked vegetables. I just want them to do better, places like this make it hard to support black businesses. I wish I would have took my money to Harvard inn.

I was surprised that it was not a major ambiance for this spot but it's more like a juke joint in appearance but it's cool to only for take out....the food was pretty good though and it's cooked fresh as you order so that is a plus. The prices are really good and the staff was very friendly. It was a pleasure. During this time, the bathroom is unavailable to the public and I was traveling from out of town stopping by for food otherwise I would have given them a 4 star rating...
