Great vegan and gluten free options.
Great experience!
Good food and service delivered by the staff at Grumpy’s, especially Maria! She’s got a great sense of humour and good banter! Very knowledgeable about the menu and allergens. The menu is clearly marked for GF items.
The menu does have a warning about gluten free and the risk for cross-contact for wheat, dairy, and meat. No GF surcharge, but there is a surcharge for vegan options.
I had the gluten free pancakes, and family I was with enjoyed all their meals. Good coffee.
Love how the place is decorated so cheerful and local artists works for sale.
Maria (and my dad) gave permission for photos with her - she requested they appear on the Grumpy’s FB page.

Fun atmosphere. Great food. Quick service. Will definitely return to Grumpys for brunch in Cleveland. We visited in a busy Saturday but were seated quickly and served right away.

I love their food. It's definitely a couple steps above what you would expect from a small breakfast style restaurant. Been there twice for lunch now and I'll be back again.
Try the bowls, they're very high quality food and taste amazing.

Delicious! They have a jambalaya omelet. Who knew putting jambalaya inside an omelet would be so tasty. Home fries were good as well. Worth the stop.

I dig it. Super solid brunch/breakfast. Tons of classics and some unique things too. Pumpkin pancakes were great. Service was great. Good vibes.

We were all stuffed and satisfied with the breakfast meals we had. The food was very good and definitely worth the seemingly higher prices for breakfast. You might even have some left over for a second meal. The waiters were on it with coffee and water refills and anything else that we may have needed.

I don't know what you put in that shrimp soup that I ordered. But I wanted to drink the sauce
Pancakes and homefries were delicious. Unfortunately, when I went to drink my apple juice I felt a small piece of plastic on my lip, and I found another piece in the cup. I’d love to come back—the food was great—but please check how beverages are handled so this doesn’t happen again.
I was there with three family members on November 11, 2025 at about 11:30am. The receptionist kicked us out because he said it is too crowded, told us to wait outside. Few minutes later, he was letting other customers (without reservations) that came in after us. I complained and he has not been very nice, and continued to let the customers that came in after us. He took my number and told us, we’ll be texted as soon as there is an available table. Almost an hour gone by, more customers leaving than customers coming in and he never called us. This receptionist (pony tail, heavy black eye liner) action towards us is not acceptable at all. We just quietly left the restaurant. From a retired 20-year Navy Chief on Veterans Day, extremely disappointed!!!
