I had Lake Erie perch. It was overcooked and chewy. The price was $30 for the perch. What a disappointment!

Gunselman's is a great cozy neighborhood restaurant. I went here on a Sunday not knowing that the full menu was not available. That was not a problem. This restaurant serves a wide variety of breakfast/brunch options. They do have an extensive dinner menu from burgers, fish, ethnic cuisine and daily specials. I went with the egg pierogi and sausage breakfast. What an amazing dish this was, and the portions were huge. For me the pierogi's were done to perfection, and to my surprise there were three sausage patties. I will definitely have to come back here for dinner. The beer selection is okay.

Beyond slow service for Father’s Day. Waited 40 minutes and our server really didn’t seem to care. The steakhouse in Olmsted Falls is 100% better!

After an hour wait, which I was prepared for, I have to say I was extremely disappointed with the perch on fish fry Friday. The french fries were good but the $30.00 price is for the fish and, besides the fact that it was cold, it was so tough it was difficult to chew.

Parking: There's a small parking lot behind the place which works fine on a regular night but if it's a busy night you're definitely going to have to park on the street.

The food here is like no other neighborhood bar. They blend some ethnic cuisine and burgers seamlessly, offering something for every taste. I especially like the poutine with shaved beef, while the peroghi and sausage an are great choices, as well! The cocktails are well crafted and the beer offerings are plenty. This place is a Cleveland area gem!
