The food was fantastic. The baby back ribs were tasty and tender. Cuban sandwich was great. The hamburger moist and tasty. The banana pudding was the best I ever had. Our whole party of 4 totally enjoyed our dinner. Mr.Hatfield and staff was very friendly. It felt like you were among good friends. This was our first time there. We are going back to try the breakfast too. I highly recommend this place. It felt like you were stepping back in time , like the old Cheers segments on TV.

This was a Mother's Day event. We've been there before and have always enjoyed the quirky atmosphere and generous portions of really good food. This trip was what we liked, on steroids. They managed a combination of table service plus a buffet line that featured a variety of Southern dishes. Grits, greens, sausage gravy on biscuits and on and on. Great time.

I've seen this place on new day Cleveland several times and have been wanting to go there but it is pretty far from home. My wife decided to take me there for my birthday and I absolutely loved it. Amazing food!!!!!!!! Great atmosphere and everyone working was so friendly! Ken (owner) even came out from cooking to make sure all his guests were satisfied. You never see that any longer, we felt so welcome and had such a great time here. Well worth the hour+ drive. We had the loaded fries with pork for an appetizer. Very good! My wife had the pulled pork dinner and I had a full rack of ribs, both were great! We had the white cheddar augratin potatoes for a side, oh my heaven, best ever!!!!!! Then for dessert we had the banana pudding and chocolate chip cookies! Both were amazing. Totally recommend this place! We will definitely be back! Thanks Ken for a memorable birthday!

I can only review breakfast, but I love this place. The food is home made, the service is wonderful, and the other patrons are kind (my kids are young and can be loud and disruptive).
The biscuits are particularly great.

As for the atmosphere, we loved it. There were a few decorations that gave us a few laughs, especially the fish with a baseball!
The food. I haven't had a meal that filling in a long, long time. The Hillbilly Philly was so flavorful and hefty. I almost didn't finish it! As for the collard greens, they brought back some memories of when I lived in the south.
I felt bad we came in 30 minutes before closing but the food was well worth the trip!

Hatfield's never fails to impress! From the amazing food, great service with a smile, and great vibes! The Caroline blue cheese burger was delicious and tender. A must try! Ken even took time from cooking, just to greet us and other customers to make sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely be coming back!
