This place is amazing for any occasion. Lunch during the workday, hangout to do some work, lunch date, brunch with family. Anything! The almost here is the perfect mix of cafe, restaurant, and coffee place. The workers are so friendly, attentive, and the food is amazing! They have all the staples with a yummy twist. I strongly recommend this place to all my friends, the steak and eggs bagel (ask for an everything bagel) is amazing, and their milkshakes are so good too. So glad hecks is downtown.

Had an Uber eats order and they forgot half the food. I’m pretty flexible on taste/quality when getting delivery but none of it matters if the food doesn’t come. Disappointing as I was looking forward to trying.

Best service in town! Great avocado toast and caramel milkshake! My wife said that the bathroom is the cleanest in downtown and it has a changing station for our baby. We really recommend this place to have a brunch or coffee!

I have a thing for great fresh cut French fries and this place didn't disappoint. Not only do they give you a nice portion they also have some really good dipping sauce. The place is always clean too. Whole I can't eat burgers anymore my coworkers give them the seal of approval. The wait is never too long even though everything is cooked to order. A great place to grab lunch!

Not fast but friendly. Internet ratings said they had smoothies but they don’t. They have shakes. They are indeed slow but the vanilla shake and Nutella shakes were great. The lavender latte was ok but not great. Could not taste nor smell lavender.

Best lavender latte I've ever had

This was a great breakfast for us after spending the night at The Arcade. It's located in the heart of downtown and I imagine usually caters to folks grabbing a quick breakfast or lunch during the work week, but we were glad they were open on Sunday morning for us to grab a quick, inexpensive, and healthy bite just steps from our hotel. We ordered the steak and eggs bagel, energy (acai) bowl, orange and beet salad with chicken, and a lavender latte. Total came to $33 + tip. The bagel was perfectly adequate but didn't wow us (might've been better if it was toasted). The acai bowl was really tasty with honey, cashews, coconut, blueberries, and pineapple. The salad was HUGE, delicious, and very generous on all the toppings/add-ins (chicken, goat cheese, beets, mandarin oranges, candied nuts, and dressing- which is my only complaint, it was a bit too much dressing for me so I'd ask for it on the side next time). And the lavender latte was lovely (I think it was 16oz., which would cost more than $4 pretty much anywhere else). You order at the counter. The interior is simple, trendy, and pretty roomy (3 booths, a few tables, a longer community table, and window seating). I haven't actually been to their full café in Ohio City but thanks to a nice experience here, I'll definitely check it out soon.

Food - 4; Service - 2. I almost left since I stood for longer than (IMO) I should have before getting waited on. Order wasn't correct and the cashier wasn't helpful when it came to correcting. I did enjoy the food and the casual atmosphere.

Great fast casual place downtown and is local and not a chain. It is always fast, warm and has plenty of seating with plugs to use your laptop. Corned beef hash is my favorite and you can get it all day. They also have cashew milk for your latte if you can't have diary which many places don't have.

I got a beet latte with cashew milk to go. It was rich and creamy and the beet flavor was very mild. They have several different flavored lattes that sound worth trying. It was a bit expensive at $5.80 for one drink but worth trying once. The interior decor is big and inviting and the staff were friendly in picking a drink.

I've been living in downtown Cleveland for a while now, and I can definitely say that Heck's Express is one of the best places to eat in downtown Cleveland. The food is amazing, such high quality, made with fresh ingredients. Even the fries are cut fresh, you don't find that high quality anywhere else. Add on to that, the staff are extremely friendly and polite....It makes you want to come back for more :)
