Hofbrauhaus is a really neat place to meet up with friends and colleagues. It’s setup of course like a German building so you can’t miss it if you haven’t been here before. Inside is all decorated with German motifs. The seating is communal but plenty of space between parties. The menu offers something for everyone. We started with the hot fresh huge pretzel and fondue like cheese. Cheese dip was creamy and went nicely. (1 is enough for the table if you’re ordering dinner). We ordered the Cod and pierogis plate and our friend ordered the sausage plate. Portions were generous and pricing reasonable. However flavorful, we were disappointed with the potato pierogis as they were very tough, chewy and difficult to cut; almost hard when they should be soft. The apple strudel and Black Forest cake were excellent! We had a nice casual relaxing time. Server was very nice as was the hostess when we entered. Plenty of epicurean delights and craft beers to choose from!TAKE NOTE: There is no free public parking!! The lot across the street is $15 and HofbH valet is $20. Your best bet is to take Uber here.

Great atmosphere, delicious food! They have people dressed in lederhosen and other German outfits. They also got German music playing outside and food you could not find at any other restaurant. Nice open out space.

Prepare to polka your pants off. The HBH from my town in Florida closed during covid and it was not known for good food. This was the best HBH or even german food experience ive ever had. Also my wifes first time to das Haus. Great success! The service and management were awesome, friendly and great to talk to. Beer flowed... Like beer. If you like german beer you have lots of options on tap all the HB beer is delicious. As for food, I recommend everything but we loved the potato pancakes, kraut balls, cheese pierogis, pretzels and must get the beer cheese, and sausage tower was amazing. The jagerschnitzel looks amazing but did not have room to order will try next trip! Du... Hast to come bye. Seeya lederhosen HBH!

Extremely overpriced for what you get. Ordered the Chef’s salad, which was the size of a side salad with two small strips of ham, half an egg and they left off the bacon. Not worth $19. My daughter got more food in her kids meal.

A fun option for lunch or dinner with a large group or a few close friends. Excellent beer options with a focus on German foods.

The restaurant had an amazing atmosphere! I felt like I was in the Motherland! However, growing up with German/Austrian cooking I have set a high bar for the food. The Sauerbaten and Chicken Paprikash were both very good, though they could have been served a little warmer. I guess that I was a bigger burst of flavor from the meal. Our server was amazing and the food arrived quickly. It is a cultural experience!

Ordered delivery from DoorDash. Hofbrauhaus confirmed the order, and took my money. When my order still wasn't ready after the Dasher waited 20 minutes, he complained. A manager threw him out, and canceled my order. No reason given.

Couldn’t even get helped came in and was told under his breath I’m not taking another order. Now I’m not sure if dude was having a bad day but after 10 minutes of standing in the same spot I think anyone would get upset and patient so I asked for a manager and I was great by a big slouch of a man that didn’t seem to eager to help me either so long story short the man that was supposed to take my order and I proceed to have a conversation consisting of why I had to wait and get a manager myself and he told me because he didn’t care I responded by letting him know to tell his boss that not me. And the slouch came from around got into my face and told me to go. Now I’m in no desperate need to give my money away I am pretty willing to let this fake tough guy ruin his business for all his dining room to observe this guy is a joke and the business can’t be led with no head customers BEWARE

We were very disappointed with our dinner at Hofbrauhaus. It started with the hostess leading us to our table while holding a broom and dustpan. Staff seemed disinterested and unhappy to be there, standing around and socializing when they weren't sweeping up. We were there at 6 for dinner and were one of three occupied tables. I could get past the service issues, but the food was not very good. I'm pretty sure it was pre-cooked long before and microwaved. My wife's schnitzel tasted okay but was hard to cut. My sauerbraten was tasty but the cabbage that came with it was not. The beer was fine. We've dined at the Las Vegas location several times, and the food there was great and tasted freshly made. We won't return to this location for food.

Neighborhood dad’s night out was a big hit at the Hofbrauhouse Cleveland. Food was great, huge fan of the JAEGERSCHNITZEL!! Have to love the live polka music and Beer stein holding contest! Immaculate brewery.

I made the very unfortunate decision to book a reservation here.I knew going into it we had a large group and chose the Hofbrauhaus for their accommodation of larger parties and the atmosphere. I called for a party of 24 and at no point during the phone call were we told there was a time limit, and they would be able to accommodate our party. We arrived early and were seated in no time. We had 2 servers for the 2 tables we had and they were nothing short of exceptional! The food was okay to say the least with a majority of it cold, and taking a while to come out. We were all drinking and having a great time until 1 of the 2 tables we had reserved was told/forced to leave by the very rude manager for reaching the allotted “2 hour limit.” There was no greeting from him, just a blunt “it’s been 2 hours, our next reservation is here” with a quick departure from our table. Several staff members began cleaning and taking all cups/tableware away from the table to set up for the next party with our guests still sitting. Absolutely no warning while more than half of the table just ordered another round of drinks. To put simply, the management of Hofbrauhaus of Cleveland has bad practice, communication skills and organization, especially when it comes to customer service. When Hofbrauhaus of Cleveland is under new management, I will gladly return.

We spent well over $100 here and were told we had to get out because the next reservations were there for our table. Poor customer service for paying customers. We actually got kicked out while our glasses still had beer in them. Will not be returning. The owner was extremely rude.
