When visiting Cleveland we always look forward to visiting Honey Hut. We were so disappointed. The vanilla ice cream tasted old and had ice crystals in it. Not even a hint of honey taste like we remember.

While the ice cream is one of the best, check hours because kids seem to do what they want and if they have plans, they will close early. They are supposed to be opened until 8:30 on Saturdays during the winter. I drove there just for ice cream. 25 min away. Got there a few minutes after 8:00. Kid told me they closed at 8:00. I called there before hand and recording says, 8:30. Online it also states 8:30. This isn't the only time this has happened.

Wow! Has the price increased. 2 scoops of ice cream, some strawberries, added pecans with a dab of whip cream $7.00!!! I decreased the stars because it is so pricey.
One of the best places around for ice cream! To me, the rotating flavors are always great and they have a lot of choices. Been going here for years and the staff are always very nice
