Historic tavern in Tremont, once a speakeasy! Come for the shuffleboard and cheap drinks 🍹 Great atmosphere, comfy seating and stories for days!
Decent selection of liquor served, as well as a variety of beer, seltzers and wine 🍷 also a few NA beers. Definitely should check it out when in Tremont!

No food perfect old school place for shot in a beer Meryl Streep Robert De Niro Christopher Walken all drank here during the making of deer hunter not to mention two presidents FDR and Eisenhower also 2 Hall of famers Lou Gherig and Babe Ruth Place opened in 1919.

Came into town from NY for a browns came and stayed at an air bnb next door. We wandered in Hotz and never wanted to leave! We all felt right at home and had an amazing time. We talked about it all weekend. Reminds me of a legion and cheers mixed together. Would definitely recommend stopping in for a few drinks. Thank you to Shelia and the gang for the hospitality!
