Previous owner served excellent food. New management does not serve the same and at higher prices, unfortunately I can get same store bought egg rolls at Aldis. I'm bummed. Their dining room is open for sit down at least. Take out service was fast.

The waiter was kind enough but didn't offer information without being asked. My meal of Chicken Shrimp Pleasure came with brown rice whenI would have preferred white sticky. That's ok though I doubt I would have enjoyed this slop (for lack of a better word) with the rice I'd prefer. The egg roll was tough and nearly tasteless. Scallion pancakes were nowhere nearly quality of Hunan Coventry. The place may be called Hunan but it is far from the quality of other Hunans in the area.

My Husband and I absolutely love this Chinese Restaurant in Richmond Heights, I love the Wonton Soup!! Actually everything is delicious and the Shrimp fried rice has shrimp in every bite, so if you’re looking for Delicious Chinese food Hunan East in Richmond Heights is the place to go!! What gives zero Stars if I could went there for the first time yesterday the owner was very nasty snotty did not appreciate the business food was absolutely horrible they're one of the very few that is open on Mondays and he knows this and takes advantage of it regarding the prices and the quality of the food never going back

Last night ordered chicken, shrimp fried rice and pepper beef. Chicken n rice was okay, but pepper beef was uncooked and stale, used spoiled beef and was tasteless and like rubber.

This is no longer Hunan East Mike does not own the place anymore the menu is completely different give them a try but they, really need to change the sign and the name because it's very misleading it is not that anymore!
The egg drop soup and crab rangoon was the best I have had since moving to Ohio. My husband went back the next day to get me more soup. I will be back.

After Decades of being some of the best Chinese on the east side management has changed..the price almost double and the food quality and taste has fell to the absolute worst Chinese I’ve ever had. They should change their name ASAP this sullys all the hard work put in by the previous owner.
