Drink was made just right. Didn't catch person's name behind counter. But, hey, cool. I was the ice/no ice guy from Charleston, WV.

We went specifically looking for books. We were a little disappointed in the thinner than expected selection. That said, they have a nice vibe, with the coffee shop and bookstore complimenting each other well. There are some fair deals to be had as well.

Index is one of the coziest spots in Cleveland. They make a really good pour-over, and my absolute favorite is Shark Week tea. They also have a good variety of baked goods, our top pick is the peanut butter cookies. I’ve also enjoyed browsing and buying from their solid book collection, and their prices are very reasonable. I believe there was a discount when I made my purchase, but I can’t remember exactly how much it was. We were honored to meet the owner, Austin, and the staff are all incredibly friendly.

This is the go-to when I’m in town. The baristas know how to dial in perfect espresso and they nail it every time.

Best cup of coffee in the city- there's not much more that needs to be said. Great folks and the most expansive offerings for a multi-roaster anywhere nearby, probably in the whole state.

The orange black sesame latte was the best drink I’ve ever had. The book selection was a little lacking, but I have to give 5 stars just for that drink.

Some of the best coffee & friendly staff ever! I looooove the home made syrups they use and how they are always trying new and fun flavors. Not to mention the book prices are out of this world inexpensive!!!! They are not necessarily the most current and brand new books but that’s literally how they are able to offer such insanely great discounts.I love you index, I wish I still lived in walking distance to you!!!!

I love Index! Great selection of coffee, tea and snacks. I love perusing the selection of books and enjoyed the atmosphere every time I stop by. Thanks for being awesome!

I honestly don't know what's keeping this store open. Maybe cause it's completely gentrified an trendy idk. But their coffee beans were absolutely terrible an extremely expensive. I find better coffee cheaper at Giant Eagle. And their book selection was no short of low inventory an terrible books. How they're paying that rent. I have no idea. If you have a good taste for coffee an like actual good books. This is not your place

One of my favorite cups of coffee in town. The drip is always on point and there is a wonderful rotating menu of pour over coffees from specialty coffee roasters from all over the country. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. They also have new and used books if that’s your thing.

The funk and personality of a 90s coffee shop meets the coffee of a 3rd wave place. Friendly staff, great coffee and tea. They have bags of specialty beans by independent roasters from all over the world. Plus it's in a bookstore, and right by the WSM.
