We went specifically looking for books. We were a little disappointed in the thinner than expected selection. That said, they have a nice vibe, with the coffee shop and bookstore complimenting each other well. There are some fair deals to be had as well.
Index is one of the coziest spots in Cleveland. They make a really good pour-over, and my absolute favorite is Shark Week tea. They also have a good variety of baked goods, our top pick is the peanut butter cookies. I’ve also enjoyed browsing and buying from their solid book collection, and their prices are very reasonable. Best cup of coffee in the city- there's not much more that needs to be said. Great folks and the most expansive offerings for a multi-roaster anywhere nearby, probably in the whole state.
