Wait staff very good as usual but corned beef was so disappointing. Not like it used to be, it didn’t even look like or taste like corned beef. Note to new owner go back to the way it was. I will not be returning unless they make changes.
2nd time here in the past 2 months. Both times the service was slow. Tonight's service was EXTREMELY slow. Waited 1 hour for a sandwich and a half sandwich. We asked a different staff person for the food to be packed up as to go, since we already sat for an hour and couldn't get our server. We also ordered soup and blintzes to go when we sat down. But, that didn't arrive until after an hour either. Only 5 tables were occupied. The server and other staff apologized, but no adjustment to our 76.00 bill. Sandwich tasted good, but ate it out of a to go container. Not a good restaurant experience at all! So very disappointed.

Don't like the taste or texture of their cornbeef.
The!!! Best!!!!! Deli!!!!! Sandwiches in the area!! This place has been jammin’ every time I’ve visited (for both dine in and carry out), but the food is well worth any wait you may encounter. My personal favorites are the hot pastrami & hot corned beef!

The corned beef sandwich is my favorite. I will be back soon!
Great food but terrible customer service , In the sixth times that we’ve been there or have gotten takeout. We’ve always had a problem with ordering or service.

I have patronize Jacks for many years. Ever since the change in ownership it has gone downhill. The food is still delicious, but the service sucks. Within the last month when got my order was incomplete. I chalked it up honest mistake. I now realize this is their standard service.
I will not be returning. I will go to Superior Deli instead. At least there are no surprises with my take out order.
I am updating my review. I spoke to the manager about the above issues. She was very understanding and replaced my original order for free. Maybe I will not be going to Superior Deli after all.

I hate writing this review because since June we have probably been here 6 times and never had a problem. But today the toast came out burnt then it came back not toasted at all. My Irish grilled cheese came out cold but the corned beef was so filled with fat and gristle that it was inedible. Even the pickles didn’t taste right.

This local spot, with its old-fashioned charm, offers a mixed bag of feelings. While the BBQ brisket hot sandwich was tasty and the chicken fingers were amazing, the restaurant feels like a relic, much like the city of Cleveland – still trying to survive on past glory but ultimately withering. Despite an overall sense of cleanliness, the floors were dirty and slippery. Honestly, it feels like the team here doesn't really care about the restaurant's future.

They gave me a corned beef sandwich full of fat that's very very disrespectful and I didn't ask for fat.

This was my first time ever in a Jewish deli. I asked for a side of lox because I never had tried it. It was delicious. My meal (a roast beef on rye) was delicious as well. The fries were crisp. The service was excellent. My son enjoyed his hamburger and asked to go back next time we are down there. My father in law and husband enjoyed their meals too , but they are native Ohioans who have been there before.
I will for sure be going back.

Jack's deli charged me $15 for health salads, then informed me that they don't have health salads anymore. Some gentleman, (I should have gotten his name) said he would take the charge off of my card. It has been 2 weeks now and the charge is still on there. I think this place has very poor management, and the young lady at the front was so very clueless.
The Brisket Dip was just non seasoned roast beef, the coleslaw recipe has changed from great to just ok and the corned beef sandwich was noticeably smaller and dry. The tongue sandwich was ordered cold and we got hot instead. The Cleveland Restaurant Group has sure taken this place from great to meh. Sad.
