Worse jimmy John’s I have ever been to. Would not address me or take my order
I tried to walk in and order lunch today and they wouldn't take my order at the register. The reasoning given was that they had too many online orders and the only way to order was online. This makes zero sense to me. What's the difference if I order in person or stand there and order online. I took the time to walk there and order in person because I like to watch it be made. It's been wrong when I order online. If they want to do this, put kiosks in. This isn't the first time this has happened. I left and got food somewhere else.

No tea, ordered subs to be ready by noon, didn't even start making the subs till I walked in 10min before noon.
Only one person working so not sure if they were understaffed or if the drivers were out, but the one dude moved slow.

It’s a sub place, no bread ready. Employees could care less, taking an extra holiday. No tea was brewed. I get it, it’s the day after a holiday. The moral of the story, your dollar doesn’t go as far around a holiday. Don’t expect any cheer either. I’ll still go to Jimmy John’s, inky it’ll be a different location. I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting the Jimmy John’s location on St Clair, and I must say, it was one of the most disappointing fast food experiences I’ve ever had. While I’ve always enjoyed their sandwiches, the service at this particular location was nothing short of abysmal.
From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt off. The staff seemed disinterested and unwelcoming. As I approached the counter to place my order, I was met with blank stares instead of smiles or greetings. It was as if my presence was an inconvenience to them. When I finally managed to get their attention, the employee took my order with an eye roll, as if I was interrupting their day.
Throughout the entire ordering process, I felt rushed and dismissed. When I asked a simple question about a menu item, the staff member responded with a curt answer and a visible annoyance, making it clear that they had no patience for customer inquiries. It was incredibly frustrating, especially for a place that prides itself on quick service.
While waiting for my sandwich, I couldn’t help but notice how the staff interacted with other customers. There were several instances of them being rude or dismissive, and I overheard a few conversations where customers expressed their dissatisfaction. It was evident that this location had a serious problem with customer service, as reflected in the numerous negative reviews on Google.
When my sandwich was finally ready, it was handed to me without so much as a “thank you” or even a smile. It felt like I was being served by robots rather than human beings, and I left feeling undervalued as a customer.
In summary, the experience I had at the St Clair Jimmy John’s was incredibly disappointing due to the abysmal customer service. The staff’s lack of professionalism and courtesy overshadowed the quality of the food, which is a shame because I genuinely enjoy their sandwiches. If you’re looking for a place where you feel appreciated as a customer, I would recommend seeking out a different location. It’s clear that this team needs a serious overhaul in their approach to customer service.
And don’t even bother reaching out to management and/or Jimmy John’s about it because they could care less.

Sandwich was made incorrect. The very short guy with the bad haircut and bigger ugly guy were upset about fixing it. Tasted good tho.

Should be a Zero Star… I called the number the next day. Worker said I didn’t make the sandwich so I don’t have any feedback, was told to call back in the morning to talk with manager still haven’t got ahold of him/her. I called corporate filled a claim and they said someone would reach out to me. We ordered Jimmy John's Catering for our wedding party so everyone would have food on the bus.
Someone noticed mold on their bread about 80% into the sandwich. There were at least 4 sandwiches that ended up having mold on the bread. They didn't tell us till after because they didn't want us to be upset on our wedding day but for all I know my wife and I ate moldy sandwich's because we were in a hurry and didn't think the need to ever inspect a sandwich. This is completely unacceptable and absolutely disgusting. We spent $392 on this food and it is unacceptable to be paying for moldy sandwiches. This isn't even something someone should ever have to check before eating something they paid for. I'm not asking for an entire refund but we should not be paying for the 4 sandwiches that we for sure knew about that had mold.
Unfortunately it was probably more than 4. Photos are attached not the greatest quality but you can see the mold spots.

The guy working mis hears my order and then gets mad at me for it. I then ask for no mayo and he puts mayo on it, realizes he made a mistake and then scrapes it off instead of starting over. I was already done with Jimmy John's as a whole due to no more special mustard or sprouts, but this was horrible.

Honestly trash experience. I don’t ever write reviews, but my experience here warrants one. I walked in and was told the credit card machine was down, but I could order online. No worries I still want a sandwich, so I order online. Then I ask for a water cup and get jerked around and told to talk to different people and eventually I’m told that they are out of water cups. So I ask for a regular cup to put water in and they deny me. I will not be returning and I’m disappointed for the owner of this location to have such an abysmal staff that could care less about treating customers correctly.

I ordered food through door dash. The order was "being made" for an hour so I called the store to ask what was going on. The indivdual I talked to said it would be refunded since no one was available to drop off the order. He was INCREDIBLY rude to me and gave me little information about why I was able to place a delivery order and no one was able to deliver it. He said he would refund the order and I went to sleep. In the morning I got a message saying it was delivered and it was not. They did NOT refund my order as they told me they would and claimed it was dropped off when it was NOT. Im waiting for my case to be reviewed and refunded through door dash. Very disappointed with the staff and how they responded to me at JJ.
