I can't believe I have to say this, but after complaining about an extra charge on my bill, this restaurant stole my credit card information? I decided to try Johnny Mango for the first time the other day. I ordered the Pad Thai as take out, and asked them if it was possible to make it spicy. They happily said no problem. Upon arriving, I sent my Partner in to grab my food, and upon seeing my bill, there were two additional $.50 charges labeled "spicy". Confused, we went back in to ask about the charges, and apparently they charge more to make any dish spicy, despite that not being mentioned on the phone. Weird, but whatever. So my total, with tip, was about $14. Then, that same day, an additional, random, $30 dollar charge under a female name showed up on my account. No one else had my credit card info other than Johnny Mango. Obviously, I had to cancel my card and dispute the charge, which my bank happily did. But it was a headache, and I'm lucky I noticed the charge before they took more. The charge posted in my bank account at the exact same time as Johnny Mango's tip, so there's no doubt in my mind this was them. Could it have been a rogue worker stealing customers card info? Sure, but I will say, the woman who took my order was a manager. So if you decide to eat here or order takeout, I'd recommend only using cash.

would be three stars because i support what they are doing with vegan and veg dishes. but our food was very much mid..we ordered apps and juices and i got a quesadilla there with jackfruit. it was alright..my lady did get a wrap to-go with jackfruit but come to find out today when she took a bite it was loaded with chicken!!! to manage to mess up a order after we put in veg and vegan options all day is crazy..service was very slow too in fact our server barely touched our table and the guy she was working with last night was the only one who seemed to care to come up to the table and take the check so i will give credit to him i wish he was our server all night. very disappointing for a birthday meal trying to give a new place a shot and will never be back after they put meat inside of a vegetarian wrap..

Last night was our first visit since the pre-pandemic era. We’re so glad this restaurant managed to survive. The food was still as tasty as before, maybe even better! The flavors are so unique, the portions are hefty, and the value is unmatched. Not to mention the margaritas are some of the best in Cleveland!

The food was okay. Great place for Sunday brunch as it isn't packed like most places at brunch time. No reservation and no wait at around 11am when we went. I had a breakfast quesadilla that was pretty good, and the cornbread was alright. My mom had a salmon scramble with barely any salmon in it, so it was more just a scramble. The hot sauce is made in-house, which we liked. The salsa was also made in-house but didn't have a whole lot of flavor. The drink menu seems pretty expansive, but the sparkling pomegranate drink was 90% pomegranate juice and not much else, so I don't think it was really as advertised. Very cramped building as it is on a corner, but I didn't physically have anyone bump into me. The waiter seemed overworked, and they seemed slightly understaffed. Very polite staffing, and the specials seemed like they could be good! Decent pricing, too.

First visit to this place was not awesome. Staff was incredibly rude. I ordered nachos, which were easily the worst nachos I've had in my life. The margarita was decent.
I’ve been going to JM for many yrs! Have always enjoyed the food and casual atmosphere. But I have to say, the last several times I’ve been in, it’s clearly gone downhill. A few wknds ago I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. The service was average at best, the restaurant was filthy, the staff looked damn near homeless and seemed to be walking around aimlessly, taking many smoking breaks. Which you could smell! Literally every chair and table was dirty w/no chair pushed in. Employees would walk by n maybe pick up one thing and the tables sat dirty the whole time I was there. I almost got up to clean them myself! Saw a few employees doing shots and gathered between the kitchen n bar talking n cursing while there was clearly tons to do!Found out the bar changed hands awhile back and it shows! So disappointing! This is a cautionary review! Step up, get a manager that can actually manage and whip this once awesome place into shape! I’ll be back in hopes someone is paying attention because there’s nothing better than a local restaurant/bar that does a great job! Do better!

This place was amazing, the building and the atmosphere. Because it's so popular, it was very very busy. The waitress did the best she could but it was rather long periods of time between table visits. The food took 45 minutes to arrive which would have been ok if the food was amazing; but it wasn't. My wife's dish was "just ok" and my Jamaican Jerk chicken was undercooked in the middle. The prices were reasonable and the drinks were cold and delicious: these are the only two reasons I gave this place 4 stars.
