Not to be confused with Johnny's downtown Cleveland. This is the original and historic Johnny's bar. Both are great but this one is just so much more personal and intimate. It's small and cozy and friendly and you will enjoy everything from start to finish. Warm friendly greetings great service. The staff compliments on my wardrobe and just the feeling of this place. Then the food comes out and blows away your taste buds. This is a master class in romantic dining.

Johnny's on Fulton is ALWAYS a special treat....our table had the veal stuffed banana peppers, the potato crusted grouper and the steak au poivre.....All outstanding....This is a great restaurant! Tom Embrescia

Not great. I have been there from time to time for decades. This was not a good experience. Upon arrival at our reservation time the host pointed to our table. We sat ourselves. No server for about 15-20 minutes. Then we were given drink and food menus. Orders for drinks not taken for another 15 minutes, drinks served 20 mins later. Our server was really good, but her hands were tied. They say everyone at once so the bar and small kitchen were overwhelmed. Everything was very slow. Food came out, mine was mediocre at best and my friend ordered fish and got lamb. I expect the basic courtesies at every price point. I expect near perfection at high price points.

We had a lovely birthday dinner for my 92 year old Mother in Law prior to a show on Friday night. The food and the service were stellar. One of my favorite places to dine in Cleveland.

Johnny's Bar is one of the best restaurants in Cleveland . Been a customer for years and since we live in Cleveland only 5 months a year , our first stop when we are in town is Johnny's. Bo and Will make you feel like like they are welcoming friends and are attentive to your evening . We sat at the bar where Laurie did a fantastic job describing the specials and wine selections. If you go , u must try the peppers as an appetizer and the special “ warm “ salad was a big hit . I had the Filet , which I have to say was one of the best I ever had . My wife had the pasta special which was fantastic . All in all another wonderful evening at Johnny's Bar and can't wait to our return .

The patio was lovely; very clean with beautiful plants. It made for the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a delightful evening. Service was outstanding; never intrusive, but always there to fill a water glass, clear dish and make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The food was magnificent! We ordered a variety of dishes, starting with the duck breast appetizer which was so tasty, and several baskets of freshly baked warm bread. For entrees we enjoyed grouper, short ribs, and the seafood platter; all were perfectly cooked and delicious. Thank you to Johnny's for making a special evening so memorable!

We really enjoyed our experience there. We all ordered either steak or veal, and it was superb, perfectly done. Two things though; the green beans were too crunchy, and barely cooked. The scalloped potatoes that the server raved about were just ok. There were very little of each on the plate, so they needed to be perfectly cooked and delicious in my opinion. We didn't want to complain, but it didn't really seem acceptable, especially for the price paid. We also had a stuffed pepper veal appetizer, and the peppers were also too crunchy. Service was spectacular.
