Went on a Tuesday about 5:30PM. I was a little skeptical why there were so many open parking spots in front of the restaurant, and only 2 other couples in the place at dinner time. But I wanted to try. There were a few things that seemed hot and fresh ...Cheese Crab mix, coconut shrimp, pot stickers. After that.....hmmm...alot of cold, obvious old food from the previous day on display waiting for the steam table to heat it up. Stone crab, days old, ice cold and gross looking with lung tissue hanging out, blue crab legs tiny and wilted rubbery meat inside. Some really unappetizing looking fish on the buffet also. Id like to try this place again but during a time when it's busy and food is being prepped accordingly. I don't think that's going to happen with this place
I'm not a buffet type, but Kumo offers some creative dishes
Great food. Lots of selection. Hot pot and Buffet. Many choices and tastes.
Been going to this place for well over 10 years. It's gone through ups and downs, and this was the first time I've gone back in about 3 years. Looks like they've gone through a nice renovation, and I hope that business for them picks up.
Best Asian buffet around
Our family loves Kumo. The food is authentic and delicious. The staff is very friendly and always on top of it, not overly so. It's truly a family atmosphere. People go with their families. We've been coming here for years and will continue to do so.
Food was bland. All of it. Big variety but not so good
I would highly recommend that people stay clear of this establishment. First of all, the bill does not reflect the posted prices. Secondly, the food and drinks are not kept at safe temperatures, making the food unsafe. This is despite the excess steam coming from the steam tables. The service and quality are poor, and their payment methods are deceiving.
Love this place
We have been coming here for almost 20 years.
Restaurantji Recommends
I didn't realize how expensive they've become. $24 per person(kids $11) and automatic tip now at 12%.
Absolutely by far the worst food I have ever had. Took my family to what use to be the best buffet around and everything was old and cold. Not one out of the 4 of us had warm food. Chicken was hard, rice was soggy and the sea food was left un touched. Over $100 for 4 people and a mandatory 12% gratuity. What a joke! How is this place in business… avoid eating at this place or risk being sick.
This food was very expensive, but not only that the servers were looking at us funny and the food was cold! Would definitely not recommend this to other people, as they serve raw eggs, chicken, and fish. You have too peal the legs off the shrimp before eating. A very unorganized restaurant, there was 3 adults and one kid under ten and it equaled out to be $101.18.
Worst expirience of my life by far. Seafood was definitely still alive. All of the food was cold and the workers kinda just stared at us while we ate I would not feed this food to a racoon I would genuinely believe that I killed the racoon if I let it eat this food. Not to mention this food cost $100 for 1 adult and 3 kids
Horrible is an understatement to describe this place. Food was freezing cold and disgusting. 100$ for 4 people. I wouldn’t feed this to a homeless person. Will never go there again I’m grossed out and want to puke
