This was the first time that my partner and I have been to Lago. It was an amazing experience! The environment and the decor were amazing. Very grounding and it felt very intimate inside. The food was delicious and all of the staff was amazing! They're also was an artist singing live music at the patio bar. We could hear it inside the restaurant and she had a beautiful voice. Definitely an amazing experience and we will be back. The food is very reasonably priced and the portion size is large. Great spot to go to in Cleveland!

Completely awful food for my son's college graduation. Steaks were sent back twice and still came out well done when ordered rare. Was told three meals off the bill but that didn't happen. Awful.

The food and the service was great. However, although they advertise wine was 50% off they charged me 100% when the bill came. Maybe because they knew I was a tourist? It ruined a great meal. Word to the wise double check your bill at this place.  Not impressed.

Swung through Cleveland for one night and picked Lago because the menu looked cool. It was a great choice!! Arrived early and they readily accommodated us. Ambience was awesome and the space was beautiful (I took over 10 pics!). The drinks were great and the food was fantastic. You absolutely MUST try the Lobster Gnocchi! I would come back to CLE just for that. The short ribs and truffle polenta was good, though I did not get any truffle flavor from the polenta (but I ate it all anyway!) Most notable was the phenomenal service. Samantha was awesome! Very attentive, omni-present, and focused on us and our evening. Manager popped by a few times and we were well taken care of. I don't usually see that level of attention even in the finest dining spaces. I can't wait to find an excuse to get back to Cleveland and return here! Highly recommend!!

My first visit to Lago East Bank was on May 2, 2026, and unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. My wife and I were really looking forward to finally dining here, as it had been on our list for years. I want to start by saying our server was absolutely wonderful—attentive, kind, and truly a highlight of the evening. The ambiance and overall environment were also excellent, and the drinks were absolutely delicious. However, the food was extremely disappointing. I ordered the stromboli and chicken marsala, and both were well below average. They arrived barely lukewarm and lacked flavor to the point of being unappetizing. My wife ordered the Italian wedding soup and lobster gnocchi, and unfortunately, both dishes also fell short—again, not served hot and lacking depth of flavor. It's rare for every dish at the table to miss the mark, but that was our experience. Given the restaurant's reputation and how long we had anticipated visiting, this was especially disappointing. While the service, drinks, and atmosphere were top-tier, the quality of the food simply did not match, which ultimately defined our experience.

My sisters and I went here for my birthday 2 weekends ago and we were all so pleased with the experience! The food and drinks were amazing, service was great, and the vibe was so cute. Would definitely recommend for any occasion

 we went very late. We were one of the few tables and the service was excellent. The food was excellent all of a sudden we turned around and realized we were the only people there and they were closing so obviously we had a good time.  But they never rushed us, which was a pleasant change for many other establishments.

I loved this place for the last almost 10 years. It was my favorite place in the flats. I haven't gone in a long time. I noticed the menu was smaller and the food was not the same. I hope it gets back to its prime!
