It's the oldest North American Leather Bar in existence, is what they say. Based on what I saw I tend to believe it. The staff were incredibly friendly, courteous, and very helpful.

The Saloon looks to be a tiny hole in the wall kind of place. The ally way leading to the gate entrance did not inspire confidents. But don't let that fool you.

Once you go through the open gate the place seems even shadier then first thought. At least at first. There is a grill area ahead and to the left. To your right is a door leading inside to a kitchen area, bathroom, pool table(s?), and a VERY steep and rickety staircase that leads up to a coat check/changing room area.

As you pass the grill area you find ample seating consisting of LOTS of wood benches and tables on the left, a large enough dance floor, and a few tables with stools and booth like seating, with out the booths.

A loud sound system and light show had the dance floor pumping as men of all types danced in boxerbriefs, sexy little bikini briefs, jockstraps, leather harnesses, you name it.

As you walk through/around the dance floor you go back (inside/to a covered area?) which is where the main bar is located. The place is actually very big inside.

I went on one of, if not the, first Saturday of the month. It turned out to be an underwear night. By that I mean it was a clothing optional, except for underwear, night. I happened, by pure chance, to have an extra, clean pair of underwear with me. Don't ask please.

Patrons of the bar were very helpful in directing me to the changing area. There was a shower if anyone needed it and even extra toothpaste, mouthwash, and other often overlooked hygiene supplies.

When I got back out to the bar area the place was packed. Mostly with men in their underwear though a few were still in their street clothes.

I'd gotten there around 11:30 pm and was told closing time was 1 am. I'm not sure if they meant 1 am was when they stopped letting in new customers or I misunderstood but the place was still hopping at 1:50 am when last call happened.

Because the place was already packed and close to closing time, I thought, it felt kind of clicky. Guys were there with buddies or groups of friends had found each other to hang out together. Not to say a single man in his underwear(me) was ignored. No, I caught the eye of a few patrons and while I didn't go home with any a fun time was had.

The place REALLY shows it's age though. It's built with wood, OLD wood, giving it more of a barn appearance. And with all that wood...............we'll, let's just say I hope the don't allow smoking in there.

Over all its a decent place. The prices are reasonable. The staff, as I said are very friendly and helpful. And, unless they charge one on other nights, there is NO cover charge.

You might be surprised based on this review but I give it two thumbs up. Just watch out for splinters.

This is the first time in years that I have been to a bar. The men are drop dead gorgeous and the atmosphere is very engaging 😈

Food is served here only on special occasions, like Sunday afternoon/evening. Just a grill. Great place to people watch or meet men.

Bartenders served everyone but me. Looked at me turned his head and walked away. Nice way to treat out of towners.

I liked the whole atmosphere at the bar/club. Played good music. Was a little dead for a Saturday (but I'm used to Florida bars/clubs). Wish I was staying longer would have went again. Overall kinda neat neighborhood bar/club.

The dude at the grill said the food would be ready in 10 minutes and when I went back for it, it was done. It tasted really good too.

why do i have so many charges on my credit card. I had two beers and two seltzers. got 3 charges.. 1 for 10.00 1 for 14.95 1 for 29.00 hey, bartender what you pulling here.

Went in last night for a couple beers and seltzer came to 15 bucks rand me out I added a 5.00 tip and the bartender did 10.00 sad when you have to rip od potential new customers.

This is more than just a leather bar, this is a community. There’s so much always going on to support not only the leather community, but the whole community of Cleveland. Come and get a drink, catch a drag show, or come see a Leather contest and see what the community is all about. For the vanilla and kink positive, come out don’t be shy!

One of the best queer spaces for a relaxed atmosphere and meeting new friends during the week. During the weekend it's got the best high energy parties in town and their Sunday Funday tea dance is by FAR the iconic standard in the area
