Nice dining environment, but there are other dim sum areas close by that offer more value for the buck.

Welcome departure from most Chinese restaurants. Very traditional but more grand than most. Food prices reflect that. Overall, it wasn't the best Chinese food, but definitely not the worst. Good atmosphere.

The service is outstanding!
The atmosphere is great!
The food was ok. I got the hot and spicy chicken and it was not good, it tastes like children's frozen chicken nuggets. My wife got the general Tso's chicken and it was delicious!!
The dim sum and pot stickers were very good!!

The dim sum was pretty good but I feel like their physical menu section was limited. For example, we ordered turnip cake, but it was not on the menu (my friend asked the waiter if they happened to have them because it’s her favorite dim sum dish). The scallion pancake was one of the worst I had ever had. It was deep fried, but chewy in the most unpleasant way. It was almost stiff? The texture is like what I think chewing on slightly damp cardboard would feel like. I normally love scallion pancakes but no one at my table could finish them even tho there were only 2-3 pieces.

Li Wah Restaurant, Cleveland Ohio
In Asia plaza in Asia town. Restaurant had a real Chinese banquet restaurant feel. Staff were Asian spoke both English and Chinese. They offer Asian tea in the tea pot and dim sum in the rolling carts. They had many of the favorite shrimp rolls, pork tips, sesame balls. The food was pretty authentic Chinese. The service is very quick and staff is helpful.

Inordinately busy on a Sunday morning but they are able to turn the tables very efficiently. The food itself is only adequate, it's just nice to have some dim sum around.

Worst food in Cleveland’s Chinatown.won ton soup was terrible. Egg roll was crap. Bbq was dry and tasted weird. Pork and shrimp dumplings were disgusting. They didn’t even bother to give me any dipping sauce. The owner told me the food is better if you eat at the restaurant . What does that tell you. Overall, the most overpriced, overrated Chinese food in the city. Head to dragon gate in Parma on w 130th st if you want something tasty.

Ordered online via Hungry Panda for take out. When I got there well after the pick up time, they said they didn’t have any orders placed online. Eventually they found my order, and told me I can wait 30 minutes or cancel (they had already canceled it). Don’t waste your time like I did.

I got food poisoning here and had to go the ER. Based upon the symptoms it was Cereulide poisoning most likely from rice that was improperly stored/refrigerated.

Being forced to charge 16.77% of tips as a mandatory fee if you looks Asian. They never charge this on White/Black/Other races. They will tell the asian customers only that 'the tips have been added'. It's a pure racist treatment happening in an Asian restaurant which is such ironic.
It happened since 10 yrs ago my other friends went there for brunch and being told 'only 12%? Dont you Chinese ppl know we have tip culture there its not enough'.
Now they changed to add it automatically. Very sketchy and dishonest business, I never go there after no matter what.

Grew up going to li wah since they opened in the early 90’s. Its hold such a special place in my heart so writing this review saddens me. I try to take my family or friends there at least once a month. And over the past 6 months the service has gone so bad down the drain i can no longer make excuses for them. And i have been going there for a little over 20 years. So believe me when i write this review. Its not just a bad day or a bad season the operations of this place has tanked. The food quality as well has tanked. Im in the food bussiness my self i understand the hardship it is these days to maintain staff and food quality. So i am not oblivious
To operations and real world problems and scenarios in the food bussiness. This issue with staff quality and food quality is management. Waiters dont even serve the tables no assigned waiters to tables. Do you have to talk to three people before somebody comes to the table to take an order. Me, my family and others around us have waited over 20-30 minutes Before we had to flag down a couple different people just to get a waiter. And we are not talking on one or two Occasions and not on holiday weekends just standard weekdays holiday weekends were even worse. And the Quality of the food Has also tanked it’s sloppier greasier and the ingredients are just lacking. And I’ve been eating here for 20 years. Again as a bussiness owner in the food industry i do not like writing this review my only hope is for owners to see this and make real changes before they loose the legacy that the original owners i believe the parents had worked so hard to build. And only way to make people look hard into the problem is by writing reviews. So unless management makes real changes me my family and friends refuse to go back. And this review has been 6 months in the making. One disappointment after another time and time and time again.
