Six of us dined last night at Lockkeepers. The food was great, as was the table service - Caryn was our server. The food service was not good, though. We sat down at 6:00, ordered food around 6:30, and waited until after 8:00 for the food. The main dining room was crowded and very noisy. We've dined there with some regularity, but were disappointed this time.

Both the food and atmosphere were phenomenal. On top of that, our server Karen was an absolute delight. Very comforting and wonderful person. She was very helpful, and made the evening more than worthy of returning.

This was our first experience at LockKeepers. What a very pleasant surprise. From the time we were greeted by the valet (who also held the door as we entered the restaurant) to the very pleasant hostesses, the friendly and helpful server (Chris); the staff were incredible. We enjoyed an incredibly light and refreshing persimmon salad, excellent glass of wine, delicious seafood risotto and a caramel cheesecake for desert... every aspect the meal was perfect. Even the restaurant manager stopped (twice!) to see if we were satisfied. The restaurant is comfortably elegant. It has been years since we've enjoyed a high quality meal and dining experience like this. This was our first and it will certainly not be our last meal at LockKeepers!

We had 7 of us for a reunion lunch. Our server was excellent, always watching out for our needs. Water, bread, condiments were all brought to us before we could ask for them. The food was very good. If you haven't tried the Seafood Risotto, try it as soon as you can. There is a good amount of shrimp, scallops, and lobster mixed in a perfectly cooked risotto (not easy to do), and it was covered with a delicious lobster sauce. In fact, whenever I order it, I ask to have extra sauce. Others in our group tried to short ribs, walleye special, and butternut squash ravioli. All were excellent.

The salmon was very good but it came with onion and fennel and then a fennel sauce on top. If you don't like fennel, the option was asparagus or broccolini. I got the broccolini and it was undercooked and had little flavor. The best part of the meal was the stuffed rolled eggplant. Their bread and olive tapenade is also good.

Wonderful experience. Everyone shared congratulations on our wedding anniversary and offered us Proseco. Our meal and wine were delicious.
Great place, food and service. Staff was very accommadting from the time reservations were made, answering questions regarding birthday celebration and cake as well as round table for party of six.

The food @ LockKeepers was AMAZING! You could taste the freshness of the food and the Gnocchi was so light and full of flavor! The Calamari was AMAZINGLY PREPARED! Jesse our server was very knowledgeable, attentive, and personable!
