Six of us dined last night at Lockkeepers. The food was great, as was the table service - Caryn was our server. The food service was not good, though. We sat down at 6:00, ordered food around 6:30, and waited until after 8:00 for the food. The main dining room was crowded and very noisy. We've dined there with some regularity, but were disappointed this time.
Both the food and atmosphere were phenomenal. On top of that, our server Karen was an absolute delight. Very comforting and wonderful person. She was very helpful, and made the evening more than worthy of returning.
This was our first experience at LockKeepers. What a very pleasant surprise. From the time we were greeted by the valet (who also held the door as we entered the restaurant) to the very pleasant hostesses, the friendly and helpful server (Chris); the staff were incredible. We enjoyed an incredibly light and refreshing persimmon salad, excellent glass of wine, delicious seafood risotto and a caramel cheesecake for desert... every aspect the meal was perfect. Even the restaurant...
