I've loved Long John Silvers since I was a kid. I even worked at one as a teenager. This LJS is your only choice in Cleveland. The next closest one is in Elyria. The food and service is great, but I fear they are having staffing problems as it's rarely open in time. They also often have the dining room closed forcing you to go to their Walk up window. No matter the weather. I was just there the other day. It was freezing and snowy. I did choose to stay and get my food and the staff were fast and courteous, but if I wasn't hungry and strapped for time, I probably would have gone somewhere else. Overall though great food, good service.

Yes it's fast food but I hadn't had LJS in years and honestly the quality was better than I remember.
It's greasy goodness. I recall sometimes the fish would be mushy inside but the fish was perfect. It was actually fish fillet not overly breaded. The chicken planks were real chicken, not processed like McNuggets. I didn't eat the hushpuppies or the fries but they seemed ok.
The location I went was literally a walk up window because the entire building was under construction but it didn't stop people from walking up.
Food came out quickly and was a good value.

They’re getting a remodel and it looks horrible outside. And inside I was honestly concerned they didn’t have dropped plastic so nothing air-born from the work could get into the food because air-born inhalants are dangerous. Like workers please wear a mask for your own safety.
