We had lunch on March 15 to celebrate 3 birthdays. The food was good and the service was excellent. Renee was our server and she did an excellent job.

I actually went into this establishment with my mom who purchased a 16 oz prime rib dinner. I only tasted a corner of it but I will definitely be going back. I have never tasted a better steak

My wife and I are here on a Thursday evening and really nice experience. Great atmosphere and absolutely zero complaints on the food or service. We normally do not go to chain restaurants but J. Alexander's is an exception. We will return.

The food was great, the service terrible. No water was brought to the table, after the food was brought we asked for a refill on drinks we got them 3/4 of the into the meal. If the waitress worried as much on her hair style as she did on her job, she would be the top waitress there. My tip reflected the poor service I got.

We come here several times a year. We have never had a bad meal. The kitchen is in plain sight of the dining room and it is well supervised. The wine list has several good selections.

Ask for lunch daily fish special! Amazing Trout if your lucky! Get a giant baked potato as well.

Wonderful place to have dinner!!! Great ambiance! The dishes are hot, delicious and it does not take hours to eat here, unless that is what you want. Thank you for such a wonderful experience on multiple occasions!

Better servers that have a pleasant attitude, and don't make people sick for a week after eating your food.

The food was great! I haven’t been in years and it was like I never left. The lighting is very dark but the service is phenomenal and our waiter Latisha was amazing, made great recommendations, and was very attentive. I ordered the rotisserie chicken, zucchini, and Mac and cheese. My mom ordered the baby back ribs, fries and coleslaw (which she wasn’t too fond of) but our waiter replaced it free of charge! Great restaurant!

Super lunch here, great prices. Salmon and red cabbage the best as well as their salad...

This is easily one of the better restaurants in the Cleveland area. Although the menu is not overwhelmingly large, just about everything on the menu is fantastic. They proclaim themselves to be a "from-scratch kitchen" and the taste of this statement is in the food. The meats and fish are excellent, the wines and cocktails are also wonderful. And lastly, this place won't set you back too badly. You cannot go wrong deciding to eat here.

The food and service were excellent, very great first impression. It's a romantic environment with a view into the kitchen. They take the time to put a fancy spin on small details. For example when they make margaritas they put the left overs in a small bottle which they then sit inside a larger glass of ice for easy access to a second chilled margarita. The fresh croissants are the best I've ever had with a sweet glaze drizzled on perfectly. The price is also very fair for fine dining considering all dishes are under 40 and get as low as 12 bucks and they come with side dishes andddddddd the bar pours generously.

I absolutely love going here. My favorite is the prime rib and the rattlesnake pasta!!! The long island is superb!!! Would recommend here if you want a fantastic dining experience and good food and drinks!!

Visiting the Cleveland area and went with 3 others who live in Cleveland. Even though it was a Friday Night, there were plenty of tables available. Maybe because we arrived around 5:30. Place was getting crowded when we left. Even when it started to get crowded it was not loud and we were able to carry on a conversation easily.

I haven’t been in years, but am so happy to see their ratings are still impressive. Brittany, the manager, helped me in planning a very special surprise for my dad for his birthday dinner. Very impressed by the level of customer care, patience and professionalism she had when taking my info and personally assuring perfect execution. I am very impressed and can not wait to dine there again myself. Keep up the good work.
