Falafel's are not like they used to be when mom and pops operated at the west side market, but still good!

Excellent food and Customer Service! We've been to this location several times in the past couple of years, prior to their location in the West side market. The food is just as good. They make everything to order. Unfortunately, they have limited hours at this location. Otherwise, highly recommend!

Dave's Market on 25th location. First time for me at this location, right near the old west side market spot, same excellent food. Don't forget the napkins! Hope they keep working with and opening new spots with Dave's!

I love this place. The Ohio City location in Daves. I call in my lunch order and its always ready when they say in 10 or 15 minutes. The ladies are friendly and very welcoming.

Maha's Falafil used to operate a popular stand inside West Side Market nearby, but at the end of 2019, they moved over to Dave's Market just a couple of blocks away ( Here at Dave's Market, Maha's stand is supposed to be open until 7pm every day except Sunday when they're closed (contrary to their website which lists longer hours). But, whenever I've stopped by around 6.30pm, multiple times in the last few months, they've often been closed (or have been in the process of closing). Precisely the time when folks like me might be finishing (or taking a break from) work and might be shopping for groceries and, just perhaps, an extra hot bite from a stand like this. If this stand is open, items like the falafel, meat pies, and spinach pies are dependable. Not necessarily the best I've had in the Land - where there are many Mediterranean eateries to choose from - but decent and inexpensive. The early-evening falafel that I got, for example, was a tad crunchy on the outside - so much so that it necessitated some hard-core biting and chewing - yet not so much so that it felt overfried. Not bad for what I was able to get late in the day. If they were open more consistently, I'd certainly want to try more of the menu items based on all the good reviews from their past West Side Market stand.

They come here from Bermuda and BAJA They leave work early (no mas TRABAJA) You can come on the bus, or bring your CAJA But whatever you do, you must eat at MAHA! WHAT! When I was here, someone tried to take my fala-fil. I grabbed it, and they fell, and next thing you know I was being charged with Maha-nslaughter. But Maha-k my words, I will fight the charges and will get off, and then so will Barbi, if you know what I mean. Barbi insisted we try this lovely, iconic falafel stand inside the West Side Market, so we did, and we were so glad that we did. It was nothing short of spectacular! I expected it to be somewhere between average and good... it vastly surpassed our expectations. Enormous, utterly delicious, wet, juicy, dreamy, and extremely affordable. Owned by Maha-tma Gandhi, the Maha-rajah of Falafil, and the band ma-ha, who had hits with Make On Me and The Mung Always Mimes On TV. I thought I'd tried all of the great things in the West Side Market, and believe me there are a lot of them. So when Barbi said that she wanted to try Maha I was like, okay, but it probably won't be good because I've already tried everything good in this place. Especially considering they're famous and give out cheap and huge overstuffed Falafel sandwiches, I thought I must have tried it in the past and not been too crazy about it - but I was confusing it with the mediocre and even-more-popular Steve's Gyros. And I usually like Gyros better than Falafel - much better - but when I'm wrong, I admit I am wrong, and about this, I was dead wrong. Well apparently, I hadn't tried this, or if I have, I had totally misjudged it, because when me and Barbi bit into the Maha's Falafil, I have to say it was totally worth messing up all of her sexy clothes (which is what happened because it's so messy and there's nowhere to eat it). If you get full here, you've had your fil of fala-fil. But don't falafel about it - it's no reason to be guilty. It was delightful and heavenly and perfect, and was probably some of the best falafel that we nommed the sh** out of in a long time. I'll probably keep coming back here in future, to add to the list of other amazing foods here... Lemon Sugar Crepe at Crepes Du Luxe, and a Frank's Bratwurst, and Pepper Jerky at Czuchraj Meats, with some deep freeze ice cream from Piccadilly and some kolackis from Vera's Bakery. I'm already looking forward to the next time we come. I know Barbi is too, as it was definitively one of her favourite meals in Ohio. And I can see why because it was amazing. Cleveland is one of the most underrated cities for food, and Maha's is one of the very best.

The falafel is absolutely the best. I travel 35 miles one way to get it. I have been a customer since they first opened up in the West Side Market. For the most the people there are super friendly and patient with the exception of the gentle men this morning.
