I tried the restaurant for the first time. All in all, it was good and the environment was awesome. Service was a little slow but I think it was because they were a little understaffed.

I stopped by Maker to celebrate my birthday solo on a Friday night, and it was exactly what I needed. Since it wasn’t too busy, the atmosphere was peaceful and sophisticated. My server, Emily, was wonderful—she was incredibly attentive, professional, and made me feel right at home.

The food was outstanding: the pierogies were a great start, and the braised beef with gnocchi was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I also loved the 'Cleveland Rocks' non-alcoholic drink. It was the perfect low-key birthday treat. Huge thanks to Emily for the great service!

Went here for Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend expecting to enjoy wonderful food an amazing experience and maybe a cute cocktail. The night was far from that and in fact the complete opposite.

To begin our reservation was for 8:00PM we arrived at 7:50PM the host said one second we’re still cleaning your table (which is perfectly fine). However, when we were seated we were seated in between two couples who were already eating. You can tell this seating was meant for a party of 6 and not three different couples trying to enjoy a meal as the seating was far too close to the point where speaking was uncomfortable, as anyone could just be listening to your conversations. Additionally it was a nightmare for the people on the bench to get up without bumping into someone else’s table.

With that being said we were seated at 7:55 and watched as servers walked past us serving the people sitting next to us and in our general area avoiding making eye contact with us as if they were purposely not serving us. Around 8:45 we finally spoke to a server and they said they would go talk to someone about it. 15 minutes later… nothing. I finally got up and spoke to a different server who was the server for everyone in the section and the best he could do was say sorry.. for making us wait an hour.. without water… on Valentine’s Day.

An hour wait with no explanations. We ordered the charcuterie board which was really good. The steak frites medium rare which was impossible to cut but the bites I did get were decent although the flavor was lacking. The chicken Alfredo which was mushy and a texture nightmare and also came with barely any chicken compared to the amount of pasta served. All this say the charcuterie board and steak weren’t worth the 60 minute wait and I could have cooked at home for that experience

Overall this was a miserable experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. An hour wait with no compensation and a half baked apology with no explanation. As someone said previously this is a place that will take your money and you won’t go back to. They didn’t even leave us the right check when we asked to leave.

Ps. They served the couple next to us a steak with no fork

We booked with the maker a month in advance for Valentine’s Day expecting a luxury experience due to the atmosphere and pricing. We were then sat in between two other couples with very little spacing that you would bump into other tables to get out. We then waited 50 minutes without service and I proceeded to let the hostess know. The server never once asks us if we were served and he was in the section several times. Then after letting them know the server took 10 more mins and us going back up to get to us with no apologies. We did enjoy the pretzel charcuterie and steak fritz, the chicken Alfredo was mushy, hard, cold, and unseasoned. Our server then proceeded to hand us the wrong tables bill. We spent over 130+ and this experience is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had and I’ve had better service at McDonald.

We went here for Valentine’s Day because of the cute specials. After being seated, we waited unattended for 45 mins before saying something and finally getting a waiter. The cute drink specials were unavailable because “they didn’t pan out how they thought”. The food was somewhere between nasty and mediocre. Alfredo was just mush and overall bland. Smash burger was cold and dry. We witnessed several other couples get up and leave after not being served. Not worth the price. Would’ve preferred eating at Jimmy John’s. To be fair, if the service was just 20 percent better it would have made the already mediocre food taste a little better.

Had high hopes for our 2 year anniversary On Valentine's Day but was severely disappointed. Waited with 30 minutes with reservation, all mixed drinks were a minimum of $20, pasta was so mushy it could not be spun on a fork and the chicken added was like charcoal. Fried pickles were soft and sour. Poor management overall.

Beautiful ambiance, fantastic drinks, horrible service. We waited an hour to even be greeted at our table. I went up to say something and they were shocked a waiter hadn't been there yet. 20 minutes go by still no one. At this point people who came after us already had drinks and food. Talked to the manager and he was appalled and helpful. Still took 15 more minutes to get someone to our table. Someone else asked if we have been helped, nope. Took another 5. The manager offered us a bottle of champagne and I asked for drinks and apps to be comped. They agreed. Food was good except my boyfriend's steak was still mooing (seriously it was cold) when he ordered it medium rare, sent it back and then it was over cooked. They comped the steak instead of apps so overall comped $100 and free champagne but we were there for 3 hours!!! The only thing that came quick was the check! It was actually ridiculous and feels like a fever dream thinking about it. Such a shame it could be a really great date night spot. I hope they can get it together as a staff.

Food was great! We've eaten here 3 times in the past couple of weeks, and it was extremely consistent!

Our server was super friendly and good! The only negative was that the drink prices were $20-21 per drink! The restaurant and hotel are beautiful! The food was very good!

The ambience was great and the service was fantastic. Jonathan was fantastic, attentive, and made us feel welcome as soon as we sat down.

If you want poor, unfriendly service, way below par food, and an overpriced bar - this is the place to go. We had an overcooked smash burger, cold french fries, the saddest french onion soup ever (no cheese running down the edges) and interesting at best hummus. But they don't care, you'll only go there once and they'll take your money. Walk any direction and find a different restaurant. I'd give it no stars if I could.

Cold food. Risotto looks like a soup. The appetizers were finally ready to be served by the time we were finishing our desserts... The time between placing an order and getting our meals was almost an hour. The family of four, seating next to us, lost their patience and just left.
