I am so sad to be writing this because I have such fond memories of this place. I grew up going here with my family for special occasions and recall it being absolutely delicious.

So about 20 years later, I chose it for a wedding anniversary dinner and I can say that my night was sufficiently ruined. We ordered the regular paella as well as the vegetarian paella. On the menu, the vegetarian paella states that it comes with vegan meat and chorizo. It did not. It was just rice and some spinach thrown on top. It was approximately $5 worth of ingredients that they charged $50 for.

The rice in both dishes was subpar in flavor and to be completely honest, I’ve made much better rice at home. The regular paella had very rubbery seafood and it was obvious it had been frozen prior.

The service was okay, but everyone working there seemed completely miserable, not a smile to be found. We decided not to have dessert because I couldn’t have any further disappointment, but definitely ruined my memories of this place and left us very sad.

I absolutely love Mallorca. The best service and Laurie is the best owner. The staff there has such a family feel, the food is always delicious, and the champagne sangria is phenomenal. One of the best places to go in Cleveland. We will always recommend Mallorca

We had a large party and I think the staff was overwhelmed by that. The tables were too close together and difficult for them to navigate through. One server actually was throwing the plates on the table. I asked for another fork and some water, but the server never returned. However, the food was good.

Most of the food was well prepared and nice. The Valencia paella was about $60, very beautiful, and cooked to rubber....no likey. Others found the salmon outstanding.

Service was fantastic. The seafood was a little overcooked in the paella.

Food was not authentic, although the taste was decent on some dishes. The order was completely wrong, but the servers were nice. I believe the price was too much for what was offered

I lived in Spain for over 3 years… this place is not authentic. It’s not even close to real Spanish food. Even if the owners are from Spain or Portugal, the food is awful. The paella is bland and tastes nothing like the ones in Spain. I also ordered patatas bravas and they came without red sauce — it was some sort of spicy oil they put on top of them. Terrible. Even if the food is not authentic, it just does not taste very good and is quite overpriced. I recommend Sangria Y Tapas on the west side for much better Spanish food!

Not the experience depicted in reviews. Food was ok, but not worth the menu prices. There are better options downtown.

We really enjoyed the seafood paella and the flambe sausage that was a special for the evening. The sangria is unique and delicious. The service was friendly and timely.

Everything was delicious! The portions were so large we took home a meal for 2 to eat the next day! We had the chorizo appetizer, the baby goat entree, and the lamb shank entree, which came with a garden salad, rice, house vegetables, kettle-cooked chips, and fresh bread & butter. The meat was fall of the bone tender. We also took home 2 slices of cake for dessert: the red velvet and the tiramisu. We made reservations. I highly recommend eating here if in the Cleveland area! Every employee was friendly, polite, and always available. Two thumbs up!

What an amazing grown night out. When you want to have a great time with amazing food and phenomenal staff, Mallorca is the place to go. My dear, he hit it out of the park by choosing this gem. We both chose the special of the day mine was the stuffed salmon. His was the ribeye. Our appetizer was the scallops. Man, we were fighting over the last one they were cooked to perfection 👌🏿. But the staff is so engaging and truly attentive to creating a romantic ambiance.
