Some people would say this place has no 'atmosphere'. But when I get a taste for good, Ukrainian food I don't care what the place looks like! The food is terrific! Let's put it this way - when I die I want to be buried with a piece of their kielbasa!Wheelchair accessibility: None because unable to get city permits, but they have grab bars/hand rails.

Really rare to find a place where everything on the menu is fantastic. dine in is small, very few tables. But don't let that stop you from ordering the best food around. They have take out too. This is a don't miss restaurant

Very atmospheric place and extremely popular. A bunch of Ukrainian ladies cooking right there on the spot, in front of you. Make sure you get borscht and some perogies. You're not going to regret it. All their stuff is authentic and just awesome!And look at the kids, so happy eating borscht!

It's like your in Europe when you walk in. The ladies aren't rude...they are just busy and English is their second language. The food is amazing and the portions are gigantic. The snitzel is the best around.

Excellent authentic Eastern European food. I had the pork schnitzel, potato pierogi and German potato salad. We dined-in but most people get take out it was delicious! They take credit card. Hard to find. No big signage, but it is right next door to State Meats. Two thumbs up!

The atmosphere at this place is perfect, it feels like eating with dinner at my Baba's house. The food is a nice blend of polish, Ukrainian, and German, and food is always great and they are accommodating to both Ukrainian and English speakers.
I'm in Lviv now and miss the food here alot. Honestly looking forward to eating here once I return.I've lived in Ukraine for over 2 years and to be honest besides homemade food the recipes and food here beat out any restaurant in Lviv or Kyiv PERIODIt's honestly that good.

OK, so any place that looks like my mom's kitchen in decor or smells has my full attention. The foods was all 100% made just feet from where u r standing. Crazy delicious, seriously inexpensive food, the menu was right on point. My only bummer is that I live 10 hours this place. We found it visiting the small grocery store next door, another gem. It's small & furnished very simply like my mom's house, loved loved loved it. Totally worth the trip 10× over.

Mama Marie’s Ukrainian kitchen is a must have! We went inside and explained we had never been to this restaurant before and the woman working the counter brought a magical selection of her finest dishes and we were not disappointed. The pierogi were enormous. Everything was extremely delicious and cooked perfectly. These ladies should be extremely proud of their cookery. I will be visiting again and again.
