Love Mccarthys! Perfect bar for any occasion in the flats. You can come down before a concert at Jacob's Pavillion (its a 2 minute walk from there) or any event in general because its very accessible to the entirety of downtown. Every bartender is full of good vibes and very friendly. The food is phenomenal! Its typical bar food selection but everything is prepared fresh! I have had pratically everything on the menu. If you come on a Browns gameday or a concert day they'll have special menu to fit your needs as well. It is a very safe atmosphere away from the ruckus with good music. Lastly but obviously not least you will not find a more affordable bar down here and that is a guarantee!

Worst’s place ever. Waited over an hour for appetizers the Anglo waiters on 8/23/25 never check on us ignored us when we called her. There were people who came in 30 minute after us got their food just horrible service you should not going work for a business if you have no customer service skill .

Some of the worst pizza in the city. When it comes to their food they don't even follow what the menu says. How are you gonna charge for celery and ranch with wings? Just food for thought...
Some of the bartenders are attractive but have the personality of a brick. If you want food don't go here. If you want booze go across the street to harbor inn and more than likely you will have a better time.
I get a neighborhood discount and feel ripped off so yeah just don't get food from here because it hasn't been decent in years.

Great PLACE! Fantastic chicken sandwich. I believe they have happy hour from 11-2? The server helped me out of a bind as well, I think her name was Ashley. Recommend! They were setting up for the aftermath of a MGK concert later that day. Looks like it would've been fun, they were prepared!

I was in there not too long ago and I have nothing but great things to say about my visit. My bartender Aldi was so sweet, very helpful with suggesting what to order, and made delicious drinks! The atmosphere was also overall just very welcoming and comfortable. I would definitely come back!

Great bartenders (Jocelyn rocks!) Great ambiance. Great FOOD! The wings here are seriously unbelievable… This is embarrassing, but I’ve been coming back for the honey lemon pepper wings almost weekly since they launched the new kitchen menu. Fantastic.
