I was strong-armed for .70 by the window attendant on a drive-through order. I ordered a double cheeseburger which costs $2.59 but my bill came to $3.30. I paid on the app, and when I got to the window I asked the you g lady for a receipt and she told me UD get it at the next window (which I knew was bogus because they donât issue receipts at the next window). I would have stayed and protested but I had to get somewhere important. I went to the BBBâs website and seen that this happened in another state also and that .70 is the amount that some franchises are collecting for charity. I donât mind giving but just donât take my money and then refuse me a receipt.If this location tried this again they will have hell to pay and I will be taking legal action. Can you imagine how many people theyâre probably unknowingly adding .70 to their bill? Itâs sad. Not a good look, McDonaldâs.
đ Update (1/21/2025) The proprietor at the 105th and St. Clair location does not follow the directions of corporate when it comes to promotions! I went through the drive-thru to claim my free McDonalds frie and was told at the window that it costed 2 dollars, I told the young man that its normally free. I was refused my frie promotion. When i looked at my app it was shown that it was redeemed and I noticed a charge for an extra sauce packet (that I did not order). Its what the proprietor put in place to charge people. He is very dishonorable! This is not the first time over the years that Ive had problems with promotions at this location! If you will look inside my app previous purchases, youll see I avoid this McDonalds and go to Lakewood. Please correct this gentleman because this is not what Ray Kroc envisioned!

Not them calling the cops on me for walking in the restaurant at 8:05 pm when they supposedly "closed the lobby early and I'm supposed to know that". Even though the sign says 9pm and the doors were unlocked....

Payed for a coffee and sat the counter for about 10-15 minutes and nobody ever came in and give me the coffee. They never came to the counter I paid for it and just ended up leaving and didn't even get a refund because I was so p*ssed. I probably would have had to wait 20 minutes just for refund anyway. Yeah it was pretty messed up

Yesterday I was craving some McDonaldâs due to stores being closed on Christmas the day before. I ordered a spicy Mccrispy burger. The bun was burnt and dry, I bit into it and it was chunky and uncomfortably, felt like I couldâve lost a tooth.. Paid for mac sauce on the side but never received the sauce. The drink and fries were ok but the burger felt like it was made over night and thrown into the microwave.

Horrible service! Got told I had to go all the way around to make another order but they two separate orders then the girl proceeded to get irritated because why canât I not do another order if itâs separate thatâs the first at this location sheâs like go on and order like now no Iâm cool because u might spike my stuff. If could give it zero I would have they horrible this McDonaldâs is the worst by far tht Iâve been to they need to be shut down! Will be calling corporate because thatâs not how McDonaldâs is ran!
