This shop has a nice ambiance to it, very cute/comfy inside. It surprisingly has a drive thru. The parking lot is kinda tight but street parking is also available. The only food I have had here is a chocolate chip cookie that was very good. I had an Americano coffee that i really enjoyed as well. My kids have visited here a lot and really like the specialty drinks. Def should try it!

This place is really cute. I like their little pillar of local business cards. We went when it was cold so we didn't get to sit on the patio but the inside has a good amount of space, and the staff was really nice. My wife had the biscuits and gravy which was surprisingly good for how quick it was, and I got the French toast bowl which was a lot like a monkey bread. For how quick they were on the food it was nice not being basic breakfast sandwiches. Coffee was of course great as well.

I absolutely love this coffee shop! Whether you are on the go or settling in with a book or some work this is the place you want to be. The moment you walk in, you are greeted by a warm and cozy atmosphere and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. When you’re there, don’t forget to grab a sweet or savory retreat. I highly recommend the chocolate chip cookies, the ham and swiss sandwich or the sausage gravy. Beyond serving great drinks and food this shop and the owner have given so much back to OB. This corner went from being just another corner store to a cornerstone of the neighborhood. I highly recommend Metropolitan Coffee if you are looking for a place with a welcoming a beautiful atmosphere as well as great coffee and delicious food.

Metropolitan is a gem in Old Brooklyn. They provide such a warm, calm environment to enjoy a snack and a drink. Their house made chai is hands down the best in the city. The perfect blend of spices, sweet and creamy. Top it off with a scone (I especially love the seasonal cranberry orange) for a perfect treat.

If you’re looking to get some work done, writing in my case, Metropolitan is perfect! I sat in the corner furthest from the door with my usual oat and honey latte and honestly forgot I was even in public which is a huge complement, especially for a coffee shop that seems to never be empty (congrats on that metropolitan) my drink was great, I’ve gotten it at multiple shops so I know when it’s “not right” this was delicious. Thinking of starting a writing group again and meeting here as there’s plenty of seating too. Obviously I will be back!

love love love this place. caramel banana bread latte is a must try. baristas have such good energy to them & are so nice. i was recommend the banana cupcake as well and the barista said “he doesn’t even eat sweets but this was the best thing he ever had in his life and i was sold! it was delicious this place does everything amazingly
The food and drink here are quite good. Had me as a repeat customer for some time. The employees are always a treat and make the atmosphere truly a great spot for a cuppa. Now while I praise the product of this place as well as the environment, I will no longer be a returning customer. I have been told stories and shown proof of mismanagement within this place of business. In a world where coffee shops are plentiful, please take this review as a PSA find another resting spot until this establishment takes a more employee focused mindset with its workers.

In an area lacking quick coffee options that aren't a chain, Metropolitan Coffee is the exception! I particularly like their drive-thru setup for quick caffeine pit stops. Their crew seems cheerful, service is quick/efficient, and the coffee is great!

I JUST LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Did a small trip here for three nights and EVERY morning we come here for food and drinks! I just love their matcha with caramel apple crisp flavor so I get that every day! The quiche is amazing too, especially with he spinach mushroom one! Their brown butter chocolate chunk cookie is delish too! They add a little bit a salt onto the cookie and it brings out lots of flavors!
