Parking: There is a small parking lot and street parking. Because it’s a residential neighborhood street parking can be hard to find.

I purchased a butter ring. Was 9 dollars. Kind of pricey but Michael's bakery is worth it.The clerk at the counter did not seem to interested in what I wanted or in taking care of any customer. She took a loosely assembled box and put my merchandise into it. The box was not well assembled and the top did not exactly fit properly. Then the box was put into a plastic bag. When I went to take the bag out of the back seat the sloppy unsealed box slipped out of the bag and the butter ring fell out into a puddle of water in my drive. 9 dollars gone because your clerk was two lazy and stupid to properly seal the box with a pennies worth of tape.

I’ve been going to this bakery for years.Today I asked for a bar of white cake with the orange flower. The very young girl packed banana nut bar cake with the orange flower. No big deal, I call the bakery (I have diverticulitis, so I can’t have nuts)When I explain to the young lady over the phone what happened she put me on hold and when she came back she told me “if you can’t have nuts in your house give the cake to a neighbor”I tried to explain again I just wanted a piece of white cake. She put me on hold again and the grown woman that got on the line and shamed me, she said “if your calling to get your 3.00 back come get it but it’s not our responsibility to know you can’t have nuts” I told her I asked for the white cake and she said that all that means is the frosting is white..Now, I just worked a 10 hour shift. I’m starving, I’ve been Christmas shopping and budgeting groceries all month, I just want a piece of cake for myself to unwind.I was so offended and overwhelmed I wanted to cry.She gaslit me about how to order cake. And acted like I was trying to get something for free..I spent 24.00 there today On kolache cookies and parfaits for my kids and white cake for myself... I wasn’t asking for anything for free. I just wanted a piece of cake that I could enjoy without getting diverticulitis flareup..I hate to say that I won’t go to Michael’s bakery again because that’s my local bakery, but I can’t believe how I was treated today..Horrible customer service.Very rude and in-compassionate..Keep your white cake MB and your 3.00 I’ll go to Colozzas ..Btw“White Cake” means white cake not white frosting.Grow up.Dietary restrictions: Very rude and unprofessional about dietary restrictions.

Their slices of cake with their AMAZING buttercream frosting don't even have words to describe it. It could very well be my favorite dessert ever. The staff is so friendly and it's just awesomely old school inside. There's even a tiny little deli and they will custom build your sandwich on the delicious house made bread. I'm devoted!

Outdated interior, but in the way where you never want an update. The kind that signals the owners are more focused on the quality of their products than the flashiness of their storefront. Despite living only a few blocks away, it took almost three years for my husband and I to finally make a visit. Coming during the holiday season was a delight because they have a huge assortment of seasonally decorated treats - their butter cookies being a specialty. I got an assortment, which you pay for by weight rather than count, and all were good but the standout was the cinnamon star cookie. So good! We also got a loaf of bread and made fluffy garlic bread from it. I noticed they make deli sandwiches here as well which I'll be eager to return and try. Plus, you can order full sized cakes that look like an excellent choice for birthday and graduation type celebrations.
