New-ish to the area. Gave other bars a try around the neighborhood. Mill Tavern was next. We shared a burger w/ fries and chicken sandwich w/onion rings. ¡muy bien! The bread was so fresh. The ‘grill flavor’ on the burger and chicken was something I did not expect but 100% welcomed! Delicious! The onion rings were possibly some of the best I’ve tasted! The staff were so friendly and social! There just so happened to be a guy celebrating his bday there this evening. The owner played an Italian happy birthday song through the speakers and the whole bar got into in. It’s like Cheers! Our new favorite place! Sorry we didnt find this gem sooner!

I have found my favorite place ever! The Mill Tavern may look “unassuming” from the outside, maybe even look like a “dive bar”, but it is anything BUT. The Mill Tavern is a local pub with flavor and ambiance. The people who frequent the bar are wonderful, friendly, outgoing. The Staff? Amazing!!!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the people who work at Mill Tavern! Caring, friendly, welcoming, professional and just darn nice. I first came to Mill Tavern about two months ago and had never been there before. I was immediately welcomed and made to feel right at home. You cannot ask anything better from a place. When I was first going in…. As a person who has worked in the bar business for a little over 40 years, I had grown accustomed to the “bar smellL that old places have. You know… a little beer smell… a little of “that smell”… etc. BUT…. When I walked into Mill Tavern, there was NO negative smell…. In fact, it smelled SUPER CLEAN!!! And every single time that I have been in, it’s ALWAYS smelling clean. And not only Smelling clean…. BUT it *IS* super CLEAN!! Look behind the bar… CLEAN! Glance into the kitchen through the swinging doors… CLEAN! Go into the bathroom …. CLEAN!!! Something to be SUPER PROUD of!!! I could go on and on… but I will end this by saying… stop into Mill Tavern! You will be glad you did…. And you will be back and you will tell all your friends about it!!

DEFINITELY a must if you're in the neighborhood. Mill Tavern has been in business for 80+ years and it's easy to understand why once you go. EXCEPTIONAL staff, fantastic selection of alcohol at very justifiable prices and the food surpassed my expectations. An easy 5-stars. Good job, guys!
