To be honest probably the worst bbq food I've ever had. I ordered food and told them.I would be there in twenty minutes and I was actually there in about eighteen. My fries and fried chicken wings were completely soggy.There was nothing crispy about them at all. The macaroni and cheese taste like they just dumped liquid cheddar on noodles.b the sauce has a very weak taste. I ended up throwing my entire rib. And wing combo away.

I brought a short rib dinner. The ribs were extremely tough. When the older people were back there cooking neveeeeeer eveeeeer had a problem with my dinner. Unfortunately, it is definitely not the case now.

This was my second time going here. The first time I must say I was very pleased. Please keep in mind that I only ordered a wing snack pack. The second time we decided to ordered food for the family. I ordered a pork rib sandwich, beef rib sandwich, beef polish boy and 10 wings. My husband said that the pork rib sandwich was unseasoned, I had the beef rib sandwich which was tough, the polish boy was okay. However the 10 wings were old and not fresh at all. I called them to let them know about my experience. The man whom answered the phone told me that I was lying and those were fresh wings. He asked if I was bringing them back and I told him that I stayed a good distance away. He said oh and hung up the phone. I definitely expected better for my little old funky $60.00.

This place has been Cleveland staple for over 40 years and has kept the food pretty much consistent over the years. My food was hot and fresh. Give them a try.
Count your days the food has drastically changed a gone downhill from when the original owners the Whitmores a children Vernon,Vance,Virgil a Vanessa had this restaurant after losing there parents.The shoulder dinner that I’ve always purchased for over 50 years was full of bones an chunks of whatever they can add was disgusting. The young guy chewing on food tried to tell me only ribs an rib tips come with extra sauce on the side. That was a lie just lost a faithful customer an I will make my family friends an colleagues never support or give you business ever again. His attitude was unacceptable. I’ll spend my hard earned money elsewhere. I ordered a shrimp dinner a shoulder dinner it also had a lot of fat which I never received in all my 50+ years of coming here just sad. I’m ashamed an embarrassed to tell people I grew up on this spot. Wayne yall gotta do better Please
