What a surprise! My wife and I were looking for an Indian restaurant open in the afternoon and this may be the only one in Cleveland we hadn't tried. The place is simple, not very attractive. However, I just had the best Paneer Shahi Korma, homemade garlic naan and unique lentil soup I've ever eaten - and I've been to India 14 times!
The owner Nazir and family were very nice and made sure we were taken care of and everything was to our liking. We'll be back again and again.
Oh, almost forgot, and this was another surprise - likely the best Chai I have ever tasted, a must have after your meal.

Three of us went to celebrate birthdays and had excellent food that was very reasonably priced. Lamb biryani was delicious and the portion was huge. The lamb was tender and there was a generous amount included with the flavorful rice. The cup of masala chai was outstanding. The server was friendly, patient and helpful. The restaurant has a hole-in-the-wall vibe, but we were not looking for fancy, we were just looking for really good food and we found it. I noticed that many of the lower-rated reviews are much older so perhaps someone or something has changed in the restaurant because we did not experience any of the problems some of the earlier reviewers mentioned. The only minor issue is the restroom is older and somewhat shabby looking. Otherwise if you are looking for great tasting food in a casual setting at a very reasonable price with leftovers to take home, I recommend you try Zyqa.

Zyqa Restaurant had a full menu of beef, chicken, lamb and vegetable items to select from. The restaurant is very rustic but clean. They do have a big parking lot close by.

We ordered chicken tikka, chicken 65, chicken karahi, salad and naan.
The entrees were ok but they were all served semi warm which is why I gave a lower score. Also they brought out one entree but no mask or rice and we had to wait for the other entrees, rice and naans. The entrees all offered a generous amount of meat. Flavorings were well balanced. We all agreed the Chicken 65 was probably the best. The buttered naans went well with the entrees. They do make a really good cup of chai that we had at the end.

I had the pleasure of dining at Zyqa recently, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The standout dish for me was the Lamb Karahi—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The lamb was tender, and the spices were balanced to perfection. Truly one of the best I’ve ever had!

Additionally, I highly recommend their tea—it was the perfect way to end the meal, fragrant and soothing. A perfect complement to the flavors.

A special shoutout to Chef Rubeena for crafting such a delicious meal. You can taste the passion and skill in every bite. Also, Gaythri, our server, was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure we felt welcome and well taken care of throughout the meal. The combination of great food, excellent tea, and top-notch service made this dining experience unforgettable.

Highly recommend Zyqa for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine!

Food was incredible! Normally Indian food is very spicy. There was heat but it was tolerable and enjoyable. Everything from here was amazing and felt authentic. I can’t recommend this place enough!

From a very uneducated view of Indian cuisine, I found the food here to be really good! I tried orders of paneer and chicken tikka masala and both were excellent.

My only complaint is that the spice levels must be tuned for Americans. I found my mild dish to be rather lacking in spice; the medium is also probably tolerable for a typical American. Not an issue for next time, but this was my first time here!
