This was my first time in this Cleveland landmark restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised! I'm not one to normally eat hot dogs but theirs were all beef , topped with homemade chili and real cheddar cheese. They even added onions and mustard which was a very tasty addition. (I also added a little relish which made it even better, in my opinion.)Their fries were also very good, fresh and not greasy. The place is very small, only 8 seat counter with a 2 seat table squeezed in the back, reminiscent of the 1950's, but it was constantly busy when I went in on a Saturday around 4pm. Unfortunately it will be closing March 28, 2020 so do yourself a favor and go grab a delicious chili cheese dog. Not only will you get a delicious chili cheese dog, you'll also be supporting this family run business of 95 years. There won't be another place like it. :(

I have been eating these hot dogs since I was in my mother's tummy, and my grandparents before that. I have tried other places, but none can come close to their secret recipe. 10 family members and myself went for a large order because they are closing March 28th after 92 years in business! We don't know what we are going to do without them. They will forever be in my whole family hearts!!!

We grew up with this place living on the West Side of Cleveland. Lots of good times and memories. We would walk there from Denison Ave just to eat the hot dogs and their famous chili! with cheese and onions. Great spot after late night endeavors we would always make time to stop by for a Hot Dog or two, three, five. Thank you all, you will be missed.

It brought a tear in my eye to know this was the last time I would ever have the best chili cheese fries I ever had. Thank you for so many memories. Take care Pete and Patty.

I've been going to Hot Dog Inn ever since I was a young man I remember my father used to stop there on his way home from work on a Friday and bring home a box of those delicious hot dogs and as time went on I started going there myself with my friends I would get 2 w/ the works and a bowl of chilli one of my old friends works there as a cook and that's how I got to meet the owners Tom & Pete who I became good friends with I haven't been there that often lately maybe 3 times in the last two years I was there last week and got 8 to go I'm sure going to miss the place when they close for good at the end of the month another great city icon gone good luck Tom Pete and family you will definitely be missed

A classic hot dog diner. The chili is made in the style of Cincinnati chili and is perfect as topping. The chili, cheese, and coleslaw are excellent complements on top of a hot dog. They're open late night, every night. Don't miss your chance to go there before they close at the end of March!!

My son loves this place. He ate 3 dogs and one plate of chili cheese fries. This is a wonderful place, the owners were so kind to me and my kids. My son was very sad to here there closing and said " mom, we have to go before they close."

Amazing dogs, even better atmosphere and staff. You cant beat the price either! Sad to learn they're closing in March but it did give me a reason to stop in for the first time. Try the chili, mustard, onion and slaw combo! Happy to meet you Pete and hear some great stories in the mean time. The girl taking and serving orders, Leah (sp), is extremely light on the eyes by the way! Great experience, I will be coming back as much as possible during the next couple weeks.

A true spot to visit when in Cleveland. Nostalgic, and untouched by time. I love the owner/cook, and his staff is amazing. Just bring cash, bc they do not have a way to accept credit or debit cards.

The owner and staff were amazing. The chili dogs were my favorite.
