Got the green chile omelet for takeout. Very bad experience, tasted awful, missing multiple ingredients. The omelet, which is usually a 10/10, was extremely bland, missing cheese, sausage, the sauce itself tasted very off and flavorless. I had to force myself to eat what I did due to simply being hungry. The gluten free pancakes were nowhere near as good as they usually are. Most of the avocado that came with the omelet was inedible. I’m hoping they made the pancakes correctly with the gluten free batter, as I have Celiac. Not sure that I’ll be back, which is a shame, as I’ve been coming here for years.

OPH is a staple destination for my Ohio trips.
Anytime I visit from Texas, I HAVE to go to OPH for their green chili omelette. Love the atmosphere here, the food is always on point (besides having a chicken bone in my omelette last time, which was a shocker, as nothing like this ever happens there.) the coffee is great, the mugs have an excellent design... And the bacon.... Their bacon is among the top 3 I’ve ever had in my life. The gluten-free pancakes are very good too! I will always support OPH, just open one in San Antonio please!!

Edit 2/23/22: now living in Beachwood, this place is as amazing as ever!! Excellent staff, my go-to on a weekly basis for breakfast.

Edit 11/7/22 my girlfriend and I came here on a Monday when they just opened for the day. The tables were FILTHY as was the seating area in general. We had multiple flies dive-bombing our corned beef and hash and staying in the dish, so we had to pick them out, which was absolutely disgusting. Considering they were well-staffed, and heck, even if they weren’t, there is absolutely no excuse that this should have occurred. Clean the restaurant Sunday before leaving and Monday before opening if needed!

Definitely worth it! Very delicious food and lots of what you pay for. Very nice employees. Only thing, customer’s need to get off their damn cellphones and enjoy their food!!

Had breakfast delivered and it was exactly i mean exactly the way I ordered it. Also got side order free that was great also

Just enjoyed a very pleasant late breakfast with my wife at The Original Pancake House.
It was recommended to us by our daughter who said her kids love it.

They have an extensive menu that took 10 to 15 minutes to read. We had eggs, breakfast potatoes, sausage and they came with three buttermilk pancakes per order. Frankly they had so many tempting options it was hard to choose what to order. Eggs, omelets, several kinds of breakfast meats and sides, crepes, pancakes, waffles, Belgium waffles, and much more. Pancakes and waffles came in all sorts of varieties like apple pancakes, blueberry, Dutch, pecan and more.

We arrived at 10:30 am and it was busy, but we were seated quickly. Our server was very helpful, very friendly and efficient. Wait time between our ordering and it being brought to the table was surprisingly quick.

Between their normal combos, they offer almost everything as a side item also so you can get just what you want.

Except for a plastic bag to carry our leftovers home the takehome containers, butter cups, etc where all non-plastic. Something I always appreciate.

The decore is a bit dated, but the tables and chairs were comfortable and very clean.

They seem to be well staffed.

The prices are competitive if not a bit lower. Unfortunately with inflation everything, everywhere seems to be higher than you'd expect.
