Since my visit to Puerto Rico last year, I’ve been on a mission to find true, authentic Puerto Rican food and this restaurant is the go to place!! I ordered the fried chicken with a side of yellow rice and pigeon peas. DELICIOUS!!!! The vibe of the restaurant was very welcoming also. I can’t wait to come back and try more!

The owner I didn’t catch his name was super friendly, very hospitable. The young lady who took my order and the lady who brought my food was amazing. I will recommend 100% 10 out of 10 food is good the Restaurantwas clean very nice and respectable people a hidden gem that’s been there for 19 years and counting.

I was at the place on Saturday I ordered 2 Mofongos de chicharrón they had several hairs I didn't like this at all I had to vote for my food and I liked it $36 I hope they improve it

Full experience review: I called the restaurant to make sure they were open (weather was very snowy). The person who answered the phone was very nice and informative of my order, very pleased. Driver got here in Record time despite road conditions. Sadly, the side Salad was the best part of my meal (can't really mess that up) the side of Chicken Wings - Alitas were over cooked (which I like) but dry although nicely seasoned, the Pork Belly. was a bit over cooked as well and hard to chew but again well seasoned. Overall, I will most likely not order from here again.

Restaurant smells like piss or sewage.. they need to clean better, or use separate mops for the bathrooms, than on the floor cause the whole place smelled like a dirty bathroom.

This food is authentic DOMINICAN FOOD I’ve been coming here for years … it is NOT salty food and the place is very clean and does not smell like piss like the other guy who is racist made a bad review about … this is not supposed to be Puerto Rican food or Mexican … this is La Republica .. if you dont like it then don’t come back but I LOVE it.
