RED the Steakhouse Downtown

Had a great meal here. We made a reservation ahead of time and was seating right away when we arrived.
We enjoyed the complimentary bread with delicious house made herb infused dipping oil. Their steaks were cooked well, and the diver scallops tasted fresh. We were there for our special occasion and the staff provided us complimentary dessert, which was the delicious donut holes with 3 dippings sauce.

Parking might be a little challenging especially when we went, since there was a sport game so there was no chance of finding parkings on the street. Though there are a couple of paid parking lot near by with only few minutes walk

I can't rate the food because we were treated so poorly upon arriving by the reception staff. I attempted to address the poor customer service and rudeness of his staff and instead of recovery he lied and supported their behavior.

Nice little happy hour on a Friday night on the rooftop. Great drinks. Great antipasto plate. We’d come back for dinner.

Note: we’ve had dinner before but at another location. They used to have a location in Pittsburgh. It was very good as well which is why we knew a bit of a HH situation would be great in CLE.

Great happy hour experience! The bar staff was excellent as were the drinks and the appetizers. The stuffed hot peppers were hot but good, the calamari was phenomenal and the cheese dip really good!

Ate here on our visit to Cleaveland. Split the Wedge salad. Good. I had a Ribeye, it was seasoned and cooked perfectly (Med/Rare). Absolutely delicious. My significant other had a Filet (butterflied) and cooked perfectly for her taste. The cocktails were well crafted, and the desert was delightful. Our waiter was very pleasant and informative. A very nice experience all around.

My waiter was so sweet and the food taste delicious however the wait for our food was ridiculous. We literally waited over a hour now they did waive the first round of drinks but then our food wasn’t prepared right we had to take our food home because it go so late. Enjoyed it but i won’t be returning.

Came in from Philly to visit family. Steak was phenomenal! Hostess was great! Waiter (David H) could use some help. Rushed our order limited our drink order the bulk so he didn’t have to make extra trips (no beef about telling us), and added 20% gratuity to 5 party check as “restaurant policy”. Really killed the atmosphere for us, but food was great!

This was my second time dining here. I expected a large bill so that wasn't necessarily the issue. We were seated upstairs and it was horrible. I felt like I was in an office conference room. There was absolutely no ambiance. For the price that it costs to eat here I expect good food and a nice atmosphere. I am a frequent visitor to Cleveland and look forward to trying other nicer restaurants next time I'm in town.

My prime ribeye was one of the best I've had. The service was outstanding. I highly recommend the Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The drinks were also delicious. Overall a great experience

Bottom line. Everything was mediocre, service, ambiance. The food was not good except, the steak was actually fantastic. Got a bone-in ribeye, and was one of the best I have had. The rest of the food was mediocre at best. If you go, go for the steak and nothing else.

NIGHTOWN CLOSED? I CALLED IT. SAYS A LOT ABOUT OWNERSHIP.

Everything we tasted was amazing!! We got the three cheese fondue, the bread & oil was delicious, my fiancé and I both got the filet mignon which was to die for. We paired our dinners with truffle mashed potatoes and the tater tots. The creamy horseradish sauce was good but the steak on its own was amazing & didn’t really need the sauce. Ashlynn was our server, she was very kind & gave us suggestions! 10/10 would go back!

Our server was Nicole. Her descriptions and suggestions were perfect and lived up to her words, from the French wine to the main course. Her service was impeccable and her friendliness appreciated. We will definitely make it our Cleveland favorite place for fine dining.
