At the time (this summer), the menu had items that they admitted never having the intention on preparing. The prices are exorbitant. The only beverage offered was ginger ale from the bar. The 20 per cent tip was included in our bill for two which was over $100 for two fish dinners. Never to return

This place is in a very safe area of Cleveland close to my airbnb. I went there because of the reviews, but a suburban white boy from chicago got a few glances. but owners are supper cool and everyone in the bar was nice. more importantly, if you like comfort food when traveling the mac and cheese and wings are the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend

Our air bnb was right next to this place so we decided to check it out after the browns game. Such a friendly environment, great drinks, and literally the best wings I’ve ever had in my life. Some random gentlemen bought us drinks too after telling them we were out of town. If I ever coke back to Cleveland, I will be coming here again.

The establishment wasn't crowded, not even 40 people were there the the bar hostess took an extremely long time to come take orders for drinks and ignored some of the patrons because I was one of them.they need more bar tenders on duty at least 2 at all times

Very disappointed. Music was way too loud, I couldn’t hear myself talk. It seemed more like a club than a restaurant with how loud it was. Server was super nice. Food wasn’t good at all either. Fries were soggy and cold. Burger tasted like it was freezer burnt. 10 out of 10 do not recommend. I couldn’t even eat much of it either. So I’m very disappointed

The food was good. We learned a great deal about the menu from the staff, who were so nice and helpful. It can get pretty pricey but I believe in supporting black businesses and women business owners.
Whew, where do I begin! First off, the owner grabbed my hand once seeing I was impaired and walked me to our table. She was so personable and welcoming. The customer service from all the staff is second to none! I was in disbelief that this level of customer attention still existed. The decor was beautiful, specially the all white outdoor seating. Now, the food! My goodness, everything came out pipping hot! You could see the steam coming off of everything. The chicken, pork chops and catfish were seasoned and fried to perfection. WHOLE wings! The greens, and Mac and cheese were sooo good. But baby, that cornbread dressing and yams made me dance with the first bite, literally, we stood up and danced. The portions were very good also. We left there feeling like family! We will be back, again and again!

You ever been to a place so amazing that you wanted to tell everybody about it but at the same time you don't, because you want it to be your little secret? That's the best way to describe Renee's Place. I can't tell you the last time I've been to a place where the food is unbelievably good, but the vibe matches? I ended up going with the combo (wings, catfish and battered shrimp) because I couldn't make up my mind. Baaabyy let me tell you that was some of the best wings I've ever tasted. The catfish?! *Swoon* And the shrimp?! I think the last time I ate the whole shrimp (tail and all) was when I was a child on accident. I now have an attitude with my sister for not telling me sooner but I can understand. This was the greatest place to enjoy one last meal with our younger sister before she went back to Georgia. Oh and I can't forget about Peaches, our server. When I say the service is on point, I mean they have that "old school" style where they are personable and are johnny on the spot. I wish I could give more stars.
