They have the best pernil I've had in Ohio so far! I'm a new Yorker (nuyorican) in Ohio and I felt like I was home here.

This place has gone down the drain from the workers having an attitude to the food being just NASTY! I ordered a Jibarito on my lunch break and after waiting 20 mins, I received the worst thing I have ever had. The platano was so hard, as if it sat there for a while. The “bistec” wasn’t “bistec” it was more like ground meat, barely any condiments. So disappointing! After I called she said I had to bring the jibarito back to “maybe” get it replaced but no refunds.

This place was my favorite place to come to when I wanted some jibaro food from back in the motherland if Puerto Rico 😋 the food in the beginning was so authentic and made u smile when you entered and knew you were about to have some boricua food like from Mami's kitchen . However now it's not the same the flavors are bland and the frituras has a different taste and texture so sad it also has gotten so expensive too. So sad 😢 nothing stays the same we need abuelas cooking that good old criollo food

I haven’t ate here in awhile so last week I decided to get some food it was horrible no flavor and my steak was mushing so I decided to go today and it was even worse the rice had no flavor and the chicken was old and not done it was bloody inside this place went down they need to cook their chicken thoroughly before they kill somebody its scary I wouldn’t take another chance too risky

The food was great. I felt like I was at eating at Abuela’s (Grandma) house. Plenty of options. The only thing that needs to be added is plátanos maduros. I will definitely coming back here whenever I am in town.

About as close as you're going to get to authentic Puerto Rican food in NE Ohio to.

The Pastel was the highlight of the meal.
The habichuelas, arroz amarillo, bistec were rather disappointing. The mofongo was just ok, rather dry and under seasoned.

I will go back and give it another try when I'm in town again. Hopefully they have the chicharrĂłn.
