The french onion patty melt is a gift. Food is consistently fresh and delicious, Service has always been great, the booths feel cozy and they have smaller ones in case you're solo or dining for two. Rush Inn but I never feel rushed :)

The Rush is sort of the quintessential fun and welcoming neighborhood bar/restaurant. It's a good place for an affordable meal and some drinks during game, a casual meet up, or a dinner before a show. You can choose bar or booth seating on the bar side or the restaurant side which has larger booths and is separated from the bar by a dividing wall. The staff is always very friendly, fast, and helpful. There are TVs on both sides usually tuned to the Cavs, Guardians, or Browns games depending on the season. The fish fry and potato pancakes are excellent and the soups and chili are on point. Fried items will sometimes take a while during peak times though, so if you plan on seeing a show at the Beck Center make sure you arrive well before your showtime.

The bar side atmosphere is very casual and relaxed, the drinks are good, and the bartenders are attentive and friendly. There's a mix of domestic and smaller independent breweries on tap usually including a cider, which I like and the environment is just generally welcoming. The booths and taps are always very clean, and while the decor is absolutely the most generic thing you have ever imagined, it is well kept. Now while some more cultured people like to have drinks in a more modern bar, underneath some strange hanging light that looks like a nipple, standing next to a life size plastic penguin that's been spray painted gold, I actually appreciate the classic bar/diner environment and that's why the Rush Inn is my local go to bar.

I've been going here for several years. Last night the bartender/server gave us poor service, was rude, snapped at us. At the end of the evening yelled and berated us, lectured us for several minutes about how everyone hates us.
... I will do them a favor and stop going.

Grabbed a Burger (Hangover) and fries to-go, Fries were amazing. Burger was good, could use more seasoning in my opinion, overall was cooked to perfection and 10 of 10 will buy again.

Townie verges-on-gastropub with a wife variety of foods and drinks. Been here forever in Lakewood, and I've never had a disappointing experience, from the standard bar date like burgers and tots to the chicken paprikas profits to the fresh ingredient salads. Great wings, too. They also pour a good Guinness. One of me local favorites.

Disappointed with our dinner with another couple Thursday evening. Yes, the restaurant was busy but that is not an excuse for poor service. Our waitress was in a “tizzy” from the moment we sat down. We were seated at 6 pm and did not receive our food until 7:07 pm! Showtime at the Beck Theatre—luckily located across the street! Ate in a hurry! Never enjoyed our food! Was lucky yo get my one cup of coffee—never received the wine I ordered! Maybe an apology was in order from the manager? Unfortunately, we were unable to speak with whoever due to our theatre event. Oh well!!!!

It’s unfortunate that I have to leave this review as we’ve been regulars of this establishment for about 13 years. My wife, our 8 year old son and I went to dinner around 6:00 on Super Bowl Sunday and the place was empty except for a couple of people sitting at the bar. We were seated on the restaurant side per usual. The server that just got off work was sitting at the bar on the restaurant side directly behind our table cursing through her entire conversation with the bartender. I walked over and politely asked her if she could tone it down as our son was right behind her. Initially, she apologized and it seemed like everything was fine. Then the bartender/server told us that we were in a bar and had to expect it. She then came to our table to tell us that this employee was a paying customer and had every right to talk how she wants. This was NOT a paying customer. This was an employee who just got off her shift and was still wearing her Rush Inn shirt. If our food wasn’t already at the table, we would have walked out without hesitation. We will never go back again. The most unprofessional service we’ve ever experienced. The kitchen still gets 5 stars.

The drink's were on point extremely generous portions of liquor like the old days! My meal arrived and was nice and hot.....I didn't care for the long staircase to the basement restroom but they were clean.Just a great place I can't say enough good stuff about this place. we went on a Sunday evening my wife and i were very happy that it wasn't crowded.
