New location at 6140 Broadway is TERRIBLE! Ordered Chicken & Waffles via Door Dash and they sent me a TINY chicken leg and small thigh that was old and dried up as if it had been left sitting out all day and my waffles were soggy and LIMP! Paid for extra syrup and extra butter, they sent me extra syrup and tartar sauce and ketchup that I didn't order and didn't need! How are you a Soul Food spot and you can't even get chicken and waffles right? If you can't do better than this, it's time to shut your Broadway Ave. location DOWN!

Really used to like this place. I called your Euclid store 3 times today and no answer… your site says your open… the lights on the building say your open. But nobody answers the phone or comes to the front counter… yea this generation sucks. You want the community to support you, you better start doing right by your community.

Great place to get dinner and Sam is amazing for making sure my food was perfect due to my high blood pressure

I put in a appetizers, took over a hour to get, I had to speak to the cashier to get....but that not the worse part my husband put in our dinner order and after 2 hours of waiting, he went to cancel the order and the castle him he can't cancel...THAT'S BULLSHIT!!! NOW we can't l leave...Soo done, I will never come back and I surely tell my my family and friends bout the service.

I want to start by saying I ordered from Zanzibar yesterday. My order was supposed to include salmon croquettes, rice, and mac and cheese, but unfortunately, the UberEats driver mistakenly delivered someone else’s food from Sam Sylk’s instead.

What I received was two dark meat chicken dinners with a side of French fries—and it was a disaster. The fries were undercooked, undersalted, and had no flavor whatsoever. They were so bad that there wasn’t even the soft, fluffy potato texture you’d expect on the inside.

The chicken smelled of old, rancid grease as soon as I opened the bag. The skin was soaked in oil, and the meat itself was unbearably salty—even after peeling the skin off. It was completely inedible.

This experience was beyond disappointing. One star, and I’ll think twice before using this service again.

Good food. Poor elderly lady who works the front shouldn’t have to deal with such a job at her age .. i think she forgot me on the phone, she always tells me to hold on and takes foreverrrrrr….she moves so slow.. not her fault obviously , however Sam Sylk needs to be conscious of that….

The service wasn’t the best, we waited for minutes before our order was taken, and it was uncomfortably hot inside this establishment.. The food here was absolutely disappointing as well. The chicken and shrimp was overcooked, and then to top things off, y’all gave me a “ Peach Cobbler” with raw dough on top and peaches out of a can! My next trip to Cleveland won’t be here!

Food wad ok they did not cook my fish hard like I asked but was still edible. However I will not eat here again due to this being my 2nd time at this location and everytime I've been here the cook is outside with his apron on smoking. Very unsanitary so I'm good on the bacteria and maybe fecial matter

Ordered catfish and wing dinner online from Lee rd location and received swai instead of catfish. Wings and fries were cold. Staff tried to explain to me why swai was an ok substitute, which is not acceptable. Most know swai is a Vietnamese farm fish, but "catfish" is "catfish" as we know it!
