As everyone in the city of Cleveland knows that Sasa is my favorite restaurant!!! I love the Sushi, the staff is like family, Brenda and Scott Kim have been the proprietors of Sasa since its beginning as Matsu in Shaker Heights. We have been celebrating every milestone event with Sasa for over 25 years!!! The ambience, the food, the drinks, the desserts the people, what more can you ask for!! 🩷Susie

Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. The eggplant Masu was delectable as was the kobe beef meatballs. The cauliflower and broccoli delicious! The chicken skewer had a bit too much fat. We will return! Ambience is lively!
The rock rocks
East west roll fantastic
Spicy dynamite was, well, dynamite.
Service from Ximena was attentive and professional.
The coat room was crowded with detritus and not enough room for coats.

Regular diner. Second time asked for birthday to be recognized. Ordered dessert and again no candle or recognition. Will be choosing a different birthday restaurant going forward. Otherwise, food was good as usual.
I love SASA. I always struggle to order. I want 5 of their cocktails and 12 of their items...I keep coming back!
As always, we can't say enough about SASA, from the wonderful food, to the exceptional service, to the incredible owners who go out of their way to make sure that everyone's dining experience is the best it can be.
I had a very good miso soup to start and at $4, it was well worth ordering it as a starter. My wife and I split three large rolls and all three were delicious, although I'd skip the smoked salmon unless you like things a bit on the sweeter side (did not mix well with wasabi and ginger). That wasn't their fault - it just didn't mesh with our tastes. The service was very good - our server brought ought the sushi as it was ready, which gave us a chance to dig in rather than waiting for everything to be prepared.
Of course the best place in the world I love Sasa

The agedashi tofu felt more like a Chinese-style stir-fry. The donkatsu donburi would benefit from cooking the meat a bit less, as it was slightly overdone. All other dishes are decent. That said, the overall concepts are superb, and both the flavors and plating are uniquely distinctive. It was a great experience—thank you.

The food and service were lovely. Attentive with making sure everyone had drinks including water. We ordered some standard rolls off menu - the severs were very accommodating. We had a 7 pm reservation and the place was full when we arrived and winnowed down when we left before 9.
Excellent dining experience! It sits right next to the theater on Shaker Square. SO Stylish! I like to take my friends for a quiet-birthday. But EVERYTIME we go the FRIES and the FIREROLL are a MUST! Never a complaint.. Ever.

My favorite place to have sushi in Cleveland. Locally owned and run by a wonderful husband and wife, this place is one of a kind. Sydney, our server for the evening was polite, personable and gave us her recommendations when we asked what she liked. She was a delight !
