Señor Tequila Mexican Grill & Cantina

This isn’t a sit down restaurant anymore, it’s a build your own, and because of that, the quality went down. By a lot. The food wasn’t even hot. The flavors were okay but the chicken was cold and the lettuce was hot. I’d be reluctant to return.

Update: it's not the same restaurant it used to be. It's totally different. They call them self "express" now. No more happy hour either! It's like a build your own taco and burrito shop now. They said it was the same owner but I don't think so.. I was totally shocked when I walked in and seen how it changed. I tried a chicken bowl and it wasn't bad at all. Looks like they don't get much business anymore tho like it used to either.

Absolutely amazing place. I've been here dozens of times and the food is beyond outstanding. It tastes like they have someone's abuela in the kitchen putting their heart and soul into each dish.UPDATE:I'm kind of disappointed at the change, but I can understand because it's probably due to a lack of workers. Food is still amazing and the biggest downfall is I am going to miss your chips, salsa and making my way through the whole menu. I only had maybe 2 more dishes to try.

This was the second visiting, and I loved it. Great place to dine-in.The food was excellent! I had a steak and shrimp fajita and he had a steak and shrimp burrito, we both had margaritas...Perfect!

My wife and I used to love going to this restaurant since 2016 but just recently they transformed it into a stand in line ordering, self seating situation with no waiting staff. It’s no longer a Mexican restaurant but more of a Chipotle or Cilantro Taqueria . We were devastated. Stay away

It's a great place for Margaritas ? in Shaker Square. Large portions on the food and it's good quality!

Have been there plenty of times and was extremely upset at how I was treated at this place this particular evening..I paid for taco shrimps, a margarita strawberry, and 2 cheese dip w meat in it ..the food came out looked great!! And then I drank my margarita and it had a long black piece of hair in it that I pulled out of my mouth from drinking it..I was so upset ? the guy said oh no it's not my hair and they all have dark hair but the lady that was their had her hair long like the hair..my hair is blond...he said he was gonna check the video as if I was lying ???and I asked him to please do check it..he was lying himself about doing it still kept saying it wasn't his hair and charged me.for my entire meal and didn't even take that hair margarita off my tab...I won't go back n will tell others..it's not worth the headache...

Visited on 9/3/21. Food and service were fine. But, despite the nice weather, the outdoor seating was closed, and the dining room was crowded. No staff were wearing masks.

Very nice place my first time there the was very clear. The people who work was so nice to you. I will be back. I love this place. Thank you to the working for just being you. Amen

I understand that there is no mask mandate, but I would hope that food service would do everything they could to keep their customers safe.

Had not been since the whole pandemic thing. How could so many places close and this place survive with the increased prices and horrible food? Taste and quality have gone down the drain. Lost me forever. Save your money and time. Go somewhere else..
