Shay's is a Cleveland staple for a reason. The food is great. The best place I can get a halal breakfast at a great price. I don't get to go often because I live on the West Side but when I do, it's a special treat. If you've never been you must try it for breakfast or brunch one day. You will not forget it.
I love this place been coming here for 20 years and always treat you like family I even sold the owner his new truck a few days I'm Linell from Ganley Nissan Mayfield hts and if neccessary we do special finance
The food was great, and I would have given five stars, but the service left much to be desired. The server took my order but never checked in to see if I needed anything or how my meal was. Despite this, I still left a $5 tip on an $8.64 breakfast because I believe in being generous. The only time the server engaged with me was when I handed her the tip. If I experience the same lack of attentiveness during my next visit, I'll likely pay at the counter and not leave a tip.
