Absolutely love this place and I love it more because they hired Jamie which is a special needs man that is the sweetest thing. He is a bar back.. please if you're in smedleys please be nice to him. Today I witnessed something that made me sad for humanity.. someone at the bar pushed Jamie being unaware of his social boundaries.. I was disappointed that there was no security to protect Jamie. Instead I had to jump in and tell an older gentlemen that what he did wasn't right and still he insisted it wasn't his fault and that Jamie should've been behind the bar.. and that makes me mad and sad for society. If you can't have a drink and be aware of who and what is around you then drink at home. Don't go into smedleys ever thinking it's okay to treat humans wrong ESPECIALLY JAMIE!!! I'm writing this review so more people are aware of who Jamie is when you go into smedleys or even the West Park area. He's the kindest man with the sweetest soul. Please be patient and kind always.. ☮️💓

I had a fantastic time. The service was exceptionally prompt and the patrons were beyond wonderful. The bartender, Rachel, was super interesting and personable. She brought life to an otherwise slow Monday night.
Smedley’s has a pool table, a place for live music, jukebox, and a ton of TV’s playing whatever is the latest sports game.

So your bartender just lost you some business because I paid for my drink and I left him a dollar tip and I didn't feel that it was enough so I grabbed a $5 bill out of my pocket gave it to him to get a dollar in quarters tell him to keep a dollar and give me three and change and he told me it wasn't enough which I had already paid for my drink and I tried telling this man this but he wanted to argue with me so I told him to keep the f****** $5 and I'm gone and I'll never come back and I'll tell everybody I know never to go there again

One of your bartenders needs to go back to elementary school and learn math you better check your registers cuz I guarantee it's over I got robbed and I don't like confrontation and I'm not going to sit there and argue with somebody so they can keep all of it I don't care I'll never go back and I will never tell anybody to go there this is part of the reason why I don't go out anywhere and do anything this is part of the reason why I have so many mental health issues because people are ignorant the one time I decided to go out and do something all by myself awesome
My favorite dive bar in the west park area. Perfect if you're looking for a quick beer and shot with no one to bother you. Its not over the top or trendy like some of the other bars in the area which i love, and also has pool and darts

HORRIBLE! Where to even start. We stopped in for a burger and wings. We asked for a dozen wings with 2 flavors. Instead of telling us that they would not do that, they took it upon themselves to charge us for (2) dozen wings. The wings were rubbery and had no flavor. The burgers were ordered medium rare. They were burnt to a crisp. The bartender was nice and was apologetic. Paid our bill and left. We won't be back.
