I've always walked past the Souper but never got an actual chance to check it out. As someone who lives downtown, I unfortunately can't experience most restaurants because a lot of them are only M-F and close at 5... which means that by the time I get off of work, they're closed. Lucky for me, Monday and Friday are my WFH days so I finally made it my business to get to the Souper Market. I was VERY IMPRESSED. I had the Creamy Mushrooms (I think) soup and a Grilled Cheese and was blown away. It was hearty, delicious, and perfect for the cold weather. The staff was very kind and actually helped me decide on what I wanted. They run a promo that after a certain about of visits (tracked through a punch card), you'll get a free bowl of soup.. which I think is pretty cool. I hope that one day the hours and days of operation are expanded, so that downtown residences can visit more often but I'm a fan and will likely be back.

The soup was horrible. My chicken was dry for my salad, and the Caesar dressing was awful and salty. During checkout one of the workers was extremely rude and very difficult to deal with. The staff doesn't know how to deal with high volume stressful situations.

Incredible lunch spot!!!! Wow I wish I had known about this place sooner. I got the soup/salad lunch special with Jambalaya Soup and the chopped chickpea salad and it was out of this world. I wish this location was open on the weekends! Can’t recommend it

Blasting music…. Waited to be acknowledged only person in establishment. Walked out because no one would come to counter to help me.Person working then followed me out of the restaurant yelling that I should have said hello and then she would have acknowledged me.This place is creepy and I would recommend you stay far away.

Nestled within the bustling city streets, Souper Market stands as a cozy and unassuming takeout-only eatery that specializes in soup, salads, and a classic grilled cheese sandwich. While the restaurant's focus may seem simple, its dedication to quality and flavorsome offerings is anything but ordinary. From the moment I stepped inside, the vibrant aroma of simmering soups filled the air, enticing me to embark on a delightful culinary adventure. Let's start with the apple salad, a refreshing and vibrant creation that left me utterly captivated. The balance of crisp, juicy apples, tossed with a medley of fresh greens and a tantalizing dressing, was a harmonious symphony of flavors. Each bite revealed a delightful blend of sweet and tangy notes, perfectly complemented by the crunchy textures. This salad is undoubtedly a star in its own right and a delightful prelude to the main attraction. Speaking of the main attraction, the soups at Souper Market are nothing short of phenomenal. With a variety of options to choose from, each bowl is a testament to the culinary prowess of the kitchen. However, if I were to select one standout, it would undoubtedly be the tomato ginger soup. Bursting with the essence of ripe tomatoes and complemented by the subtle warmth of ginger, this soup is a masterpiece in a bowl. The flavors melded together seamlessly, creating a rich and comforting experience that left me yearning for more. Accompanying the soups, Souper Market provides a thoughtful amount of crackers and a generous hunk of bread for dipping. The crackers, crisp and delicate, provide a satisfying contrast to the velvety textures of the soups, while the bread, with its crusty exterior and pillowy interior, is perfect for soaking up every last drop of goodness. These accompaniments enhance the overall dining experience, elevating it to a whole new level. Now, here's a little secret that I must share: Souper Market offers their exquisite broth for purchase, allowing customers to recreate the magic at home. This hidden gem is not only a testament to their dedication to customer satisfaction but also an affordable option for those seeking to elevate their homemade culinary game. With their flavorful broth as a foundation, culinary adventures await in the comfort of your own kitchen. In conclusion, Souper Market is a treasure trove for soup enthusiasts, delivering a delightful array of soups, salads, and grilled cheese sandwiches. From the remarkable apple salad to the exceptional tomato ginger soup, each dish showcases the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavor. The provision of crackers and bread for dipping further enhances the dining experience, while the availability of their affordable broth for home use is an added bonus. With its inviting ambiance and scrumptious offerings, Souper Market is a true gem that deserves to be discovered and cherished by all soup aficionados.

Excellent salads for lunch across from the Justice Center. I have enjoyed the big salads and the soups are nice.

I love it here and have never had a bad soup/salad or experience. The staff is awesome at all locations and the food is tasty, fresh and consistently so. I love their salads but can't recall the name of my favorite. It's the one with apples, candied nuts and blue cheese; it's top notch and their house made dressings are unmatched. For me, the chicken you can add is just ok (a little dry) and while plentiful does not add to the taste because it's perfect without. The jambalaya is my favorite soup but again they are all on par! I love soup and salad so if any location was closer, I'd definitely eat here several times a week.
